Very well done as usual! I'm seconding ProSauropod here - I like seeing something a bit more playful now and again.

And yes, I do like Disney movies - I don't do much fan art of them, because most fan art I see just ruins them for me. But I do watch them. And what is wrong with being a grown-up kid? My recently arrived Carnegie Cryolophosaurus was going to be Elvis, but then I decided it was a girl and I called her Elsa for a sorta lame joke :P Yes, all my models have names. Problem? (Yes, I know I'm crazy...)
UPDATE - Where've I been, my other hobbies, and how to navigate my Flickr:

Thanks everybody! @insecticon: he's a tame one, like the raptors in JW - what could go wrong? :)

Thanks! Haha! I got the new Safari Yutyrannus and was like 'Hey! This guy looks like a dinosaur suited for snowy climates!' And my kids are currently obsessed with Frozen so it was a rather natural for me to join these two things:D

Some of my latest works:
Spinosaurus vol.2 and feathered Tyrannosaurus. Some of you may recognize him from the diorama contest. I added a base and feathers.

Wow! Huge improvement with the Spino! I liked the first one but it had that homemade look to it, but this one is just gorgeous, and the paint job is unique yet so realistic looking. How big is it? If you've ever thought about casting I think this would be a great one to do. this is definitely the best Spinosaurus sculpt I've ever seen. :)

Thanks Kayakasaurus! I'm flattered! The Spino is in 1:50 scale. I have thought about casting but haven't gotten around to doing it yet. Hopefully I'll learn that skill soon.

Pachyrhinosaurus

Very good. I like how you had the spinosaurus in a swimming pose, especially with all the uncertainty as far as walking poses go.

So here's a little something I made to amuse my kids and myself: Dinomike Queen of Arendelle Diorama with a juvenile Yutyrannus named Olaf. You may notice the influence by Doug Watson's excellent Yutyrannus :D
April 8th:
I retooled Elsa's face which I wasn't happy with and repainted her eyes. I also made a new snow flake. My kids are happier with it now. :D

Okay, I am late to the party but I just found this. Great job! Your kids are lucky. I am a big fan of Disney, how can you not like a company whose mandate is to make people happy while (gasp!) making money at it. Plus I love that they still do old school animation.
I am also flattered that you took inspiration from my Yutyrannus.

Dinomike

Thanks Doug! I had your Yuturannus on my desk while making the diorama. I really like Disney movies - as do my wife and kids - and I'm planning to make some more Disney themed sculpts in the future. My next project is Mulan and Mushu. :)

Here's how I made my entry for the 2015 contest. I wanted to make a "corrected" version of Rexy and reimagine the famous car scene with a feathered dinosaur.

Preliminary sculpting of the Rexy.

Finished Rexy with yet unpainted 1993 Ford Explorer I found on eBay.

The Explorer after the repaint. I also smashed it with a hammer :)

Building the site:

Preliminary test shot:

My finished entry:

I ended up adding the rain in Photoshop. I did try out different manual versions including a sanded piece of plastic in front of the camera but it kinda didn't work.

A detail shot:

I turned the diorama into a small desktop statue that now stands on my shelf:

Wow, I originally thought it was a heavily photo shopped figure in the diorama, it looks stunning and congrats on your honorable mention !  ^-^
