Here's another rebooted thread  :) This one's dedicated to pliosaurs  >:D

My pliosaur collection (Jan 2011). After much deliberation I decided to include the polycotylids, which are traditionally regarded as pliosaurs, but are probably really derived plesiosauroids. So, lets call it my 'pliosauromorph' collection

I have a few more additions, and I'm still missing one or two...

Is that a Sea Monsters Dolichorinchops in the bottom left corner :o?! I thought those figures never got released!

That's the one from Jaxx, as part of the Jack-in-The-Box restaurant giveaways.  Most of the other toys available were pretty poor, but that figure is great. I'm glad to have a couple!

And Admin, your're going to have to hunt down the Brachauchenius from the Gone Extinct book set. It is kind of poor (looks like a bad Safari Carnivorous Dinos Kronosaurus) but who else makes that taxa?  If nothing else, there are a few others in that set (notably the Arthropleura) that are quite unique as well.  Also, there is a Fevres Peloneustes, for those willing to consider the occasional not-quite-toy (it's ceramic).  Again, probably not super accurate, but the only representation of that one that I know.

Hello friends I have some pliosaurus. My big pliosaurs is this Liopleurodon but I tought that it is of TS Toys but is bigger than TS Toys version  ^-^.

You can see Carnegie Kronosaurus for you can see the difference of size  ^-^.
[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

Wow, that one is huge... could it be part of the same line that produced these monstrosities?

Although that Liop looks a lot better than these duo! ;D

They're most likely just Asiasaurs 8)

Just curious, what compelled you to buy such abominations? I really don't see any redeeming features :X

Well, at the time that this comment was written, I was interesting the Waiphoon Chinasaur. I don't need it anymore, I found one on eBay since then.

Sweet collection!
I've been interested in the Nayab animals (I happen to own their birds and dinosaurs!) and I found their product catalog. It appears I stumbled on a Kaiyodo Dinotales Liplerodon knock off! :0
Now check that out! I also stumbled across a small blue pliosaur too.And I found some Mech dinosaur knock offs too! It shocked me to find a knock off of Kaiyodo, but does anyone know where to get these?0
Lol a few knock offs are great additions to the Lovely lovely pliosaur collection!  ;D

Those are Waiphoon figures, repackaged by Nayab. I had the rhamph, and still have the pliosaur. It looks sort of like the Dintale, but is much bigger.

DinoToyForum

Any new pliosaurs released recently?

stargatedalek

The only ones I can think of are the Kaiyodo CapsuleQ museum set and the CollectA one which is set for release soon.

In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.
