Best Figure of 2014 - poll

Because it's been incredibly much more anticipated...I guess anyone was expecting Papo to release such a species...not Papo but Carnegie...

My 5 favorite dinosaurs and prehistoric animals so far for 2014 are the Carnegie Museum's 2014 Tyrannosaurus,the new Battat Pachyrhinosaurus,Gastonia and Cryolophosaurus that seem to have come from out of nowhere,and the new Kaiyodo Plesiosaurus from the Capsule Q Museum set.
It's a funny coincidence that all of those are in 1:40 scale.

It's April. Not even the first half of the year is over.

The poll makes no sense.
- As every year there will be some figures we do not even have a clue what they're going to be and who will release them.
- No Japanese brands are involved. I'd say that's pretty ignorant.

I think we're acting hastily and premature here. Not in the manner of a scientific orientated collectors' board.

thats not by any means "all the contenders", if anything its "nearly all the western brands"
but its not every brand nor even every figure from the brands present for 2014

off the top of my head the poll is missing;
-Kaiyodo releases this year
-(some of the) Mojo releases
-Favorite releases

and keep in mind its possible we could be seeing some new Habrosaurs before 2014 passes
not "all of the contenders" are present, and a new poll is really needed closer to the end of the year

I'll go make a topic for a list of all the figures released in 2014, so we can include as many as possible in the next poll

I agree the poll should start in early 2015 and include all the new releases fror the year.

My favourite release thus far has been the SS Tyrannosaurus, but I'm not sure that statues are allowed, so I chose the Kaiyodo marine reptile set (particularly the plesio) as my #1, with the Favorite Ltd. Dunkleosteus and the CollectA Carcharodontosaurus as runner ups.

The Battats are okay but they didn't make my top figures this year.
