I think current pose is highly degrading for the poor WWD Ornithocheirus.
He clearly deserve better - Exhibited like that must cause it to feel under appreciated.
I would really have you to reconsider ...  ;)
and if you allready  grown tired of your Ornithocheirus, then  ...

The whole thing is a metaphor to explain its rarity.... Everyone wants to take a bite out of it and failing that a human is waiting to issue the cru de gras  for the species. The cancavenator is after the prize and sinraptor is waiting for the scraps.

CityRaptor

And I thought that its rarity made it a meal fitting for a ( Tyrant Lizard ) King.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Shonisaurus

You have a collection of top quality figures and extremely rare on the market. I am very happy to read all your publications after my absence for sad reasons and honestly you have many figures of prehistoric animals that most collectors do not have and not only the ornithocheirus I am happy for you and my sincere congratulations UK

Not much of an update, have far too much else going on at the moment. But welcome Monty. Not sure what to make of it yet. Really can't see why people are paying such high prices on ebay.

Shonisaurus

My congratulations on your new acquisition, the titanoboa figure from Rebor, UK is very beautiful. I totally agree with you, the prices shown in the Ebay market relative to that figure are excessive from my point of view.

Bokisaurus

Nice addition. Every time I see that Papo spinosaurus it just really show how much limited space you have to display them. It dwarfs everything! :D

Halichoeres

Yeah, I find the Titanoboa doesn't live up to the hype. I'd probably have bought one for the sake of completeness if I collected Cenozoic animals, but it doesn't really do it for me. Definitely doesn't live up to some of your other bathroom treasures.

Thank you.

I really like the small space, keeps the collecting in check. And you have to be choosey with what you buy and keep.

Nice snaps! I like the way you freshen the shelves up with different models. The shelf with the Inpros makes me smile, there can't be too many of us in the Forum who proudly show these off!

Also good to see the Leptoceratops we swapped hiding near the cavemen (Og and friends?).

Hi Rob, the Inpros are the toys I played with as a child but those were long lost. I really wanted to reestablish a link to a happy part of my childhood and these were it. The collecting habit is a spin off from trying to find the Inpro figures and finding a large number of other interesting items in job lots.

Yes that is Og and his associates painted for me by Copper before she caused issues on the Forum. And of course pride of place is afforded to the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy miniatures.

The Leptoceratops lurks quite well on the side there!

I feel like I am becoming a follower of Helge (avatar_postsaurischian @postsaurischian), his inspiring photos seem to be tempting me out of buying retirement. Recently Monty and now the excellent Collecta Lisowicia. I leave showing off to his photography skills imaginative display. I fall short in both departments.

I've not figured how to bring the Lisowicia into a more inspiring display but the quality of this scupper demands I do.

You might recognise that there is yet another set of bathroom shelves. Well when my wife spots it she will be delighted. I was out for a lunch time stroll and someone had left them for free. 1/2 hour later up they went. And I've added the giraffe for a bit of fun.

And a big shout out to everythingdinosaur. I ordered the Lisowicia on Thursday and it was delivered early Friday morning. Great service, great price. As always poor images on my camera phone.

;D'Wish I could also just casually flex my WWD Ornithocheirus. ;D

avatar_UK @UK Magnificent collection of UK figures! You have a cast of admirable figures, all of them are very pretty. Now you have given me an idea when it comes to placing dinosaurs in bathroom rooms. There are some in my collection that take up a lot of space and I understand that now that I live alone, it is a smart idea to put them at least in the guest bathroom.

I said magnificent collection, I congratulate you on your order and cleanliness.

I wish you would get a camera Manuel. We would all love to see your collection!

I hope you are well.

A new arrival, a quick restaurants Liopleurodon, finally got one back. Displays nicely on the new shelves with mesh allowing a more dynamic display.

Congrats on the little Lio. That one's hard to find, perhaps even more so than the full size. And is that the Ornithocheirus we hear so much about?

.. I would be terrified to put two rare (and quite heavy)  figures such Favorite Oldies resin Iguanodon and Tyrannosaurus on a top free shelf without protections..  :o

Congrats about your collection  8)

Shonisaurus

I never thought WWD's ornithocherius was bigger than normal. I congratulate you on your precious collection. All your figures are very pretty.

It is the fabled Orni...

I see the loose lio on eBay.fr fairly often but the French rarely ship overseas.

Thank you Manuel. Its normal size, the lio is the cut down figure.

I hadn't thought about the possibility of damage. They are brittle figures and two sustained damage when my numpty brother in law gave my little nephew them to play with.

That was despite a request for him not to do it. But then again, he is a selfish little man. Robin, you stirred up bad memories....
