Always interesting to see what other treasures you have added to your collection! ;D
Those are interesting and very rare figures, I don't think many even know what they are ;D

avatar_UK @UK My congratulations on your new acquisitions. They must be very rare vintage and very expensive figures.

Thank you, the sentiments are very much the same when I view your thread. I must say though, your photography skills eclipse mine tremendously.

There are probably countless numbers of little green ovomaltine figures nestling safely in the landfill sites across France. Such a shame as there are some wonderfully quirky figures for a give away line.

sauroid

such a delight to see all those real vintage figures.
"you know you have a lot of prehistoric figures if you have at least twenty items per page of the prehistoric/dinosaur section on ebay." - anon.

Haha, yes, probably the same with those awesome rare Marx figures that were dumped and buried!🤣

Congrats on those Ovomaltine figures. I've been looking for the Pterichthys from that line for quite a while.

Congrats on those Ovomaltine figures. I've been looking for the Pterichthys from that line for quite a while.

I've had one of those and gave it to my friend Dean (owner of dejankins). It still remains the only one I've seen. The one I was fortunate to find gave concrete evidence the ptericthys existed. avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres ive got a contact in France searching for it and the pteranodon, I had you in mind when I gave the challenge. If you're interested should one turns up, I'll get you two in touch.

To put things in context, the figure would attract bids of more than 500euros on the open market according to several interested parties.

Thanks, UK. I had a negotiation with a French individual stall out because we couldn't quite reach an agreement. I wonder if it's the same person you're talking about. But yes, I'd certainly appreciate any leads on it. That price is similar to what I paid for the Lanier Climatius.

I guess it was possibly Jean Marie avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres? I won't comment any further. If I hear anything, I'll dm you.

Acquisitions are few and far between. I must say my collecting passion is waning. It take something very unusual or vintage to open my wallet.

So...

Eofauna Atlasaurus

Henkel and Ovomaltines

and a Safari Therizinosaurus

Lynx

What figure is the larger pterosaur in the third picture?
An oversized house cat.

Your newest adquisitions are always a pleasure to the eye and good taste. Those are lovely!  ^-^
By the way, how much do ovomaltines cost nowadays? Are some more expensive than others?
