avatar_Crackington @Crackington I eventually landed on the Safari Patagotitan, but they both have their good points.

Needed to tidy and dust today so decided to freshen up the display. Nice to dig out the Timpos.

I've gotta say, I love how dynamically you've set up these displays! It really makes it feel alive.
Also, is that a Supersaurus skeleton I see on the bottom left of the wooden shelf in the 12th picture?

"Seismosaurus" from the 2002 Kaiyodo Dinotales Expo set.

It's indeed the Supersaurus model from "The Gigantic Dinosaur Expo 2006".

They have quite some similarities. I'd say the 2006 Expo model is the nobel version.

I never tire of seeing your photos avatar_UK @UK and the way you refresh the displays.

There's something great in every picture whether the Bullyland Mastodontosaurus, those rare Expo figures mentioned above and even the tiny metal Raquel Welch and Doug McClure figures trying to survive among the giants 😀

I also like to see that yellow Timpo Rex we swapped all that time ago (I still prize those Marx and MPCs). You must have the largest collection of those all arranged in their chorus line.

Great stuff!

Looks great. I like the way your displays are quite eclectic and that's easily the best collection of Timpo Rex variations I've ever seen.

I see you still have some labels on some figures. I've been agonising other whether to remove them or not from my figures.

I wanted to ask about those Timpos... I've never seen the Dimetrodon in anything other than black. Is this the most common color? And they made variants in other colors and also had a painted version?

Thank you. Display is more luck than judgement. I think your question has been answered to by avatar_postsaurischian @postsaurischian.

Thanks Rob. That lovely little yellow Rex is now the painted figure on the left of the parade, my favourite out of the bunch.

I'm the same about the labels John. I do retain them as I sell most of my collection to fund new figures. It's interesting that some don't care for the box or label and others retain all packaging.

The two main colours are Black from the revised moulds and Red from the original painted release. This purple version is the only deviation I've seen in all the years of looking for Timpo variants. The stegosaurus is very rare and all I've owned have been red. Otherwise, the other figures have lots of variations, especially the Rex though these are still rare.

It looks great! Did you paint it yourself?

Sadly I'm talentless when it comes to art. It was painted by Noora avatar_copper @copper who is a forum member currently taking a break. She also painted my OG Son of Fire figures seen next to the kaiyodo metal figures.

Her artwork restored the og figures, which are approaching 90 years old. By far the oldest figures I own.

gorgeous displays, and full of some incredible pieces too. what are the other mammals that you have on the shelf with the bullyland direwolf? i love the coloration on the chalicotheres.

Shut the front door. Wait, you have a Doug McClure figure?

Shug McClure
Peter Cushion
and best of all, Raquel Scotch lol.

And avatar_Crackington @Crackington there is a Mary Anning figure too though sadly no Alan Shearer who would also be a hero no doubt ;-)

I've got quite a number of AM figures, really interesting when made up and painted.

They are from a 3d print rage. I can't recall what. I will try to cast my mind back. They were painted and cleaned up by Robert Telia.

Thank you for your kind comments.
