Hi! A friend of mine is going to the Field Museum this summer! I asked her to buy something there for me - figures or books or both. Now, what´s unique to the Field Museum? What figures do they sell, what book is most value for money? Thanks for your answers in advance!

Do they have an online store you can check?

I'd guess magnets, pins, postcards, ect..when I go visiting places like this I want items actually from that place that you can't get anywhere else. :)

Ask for a picture of her in front of the skull, from the non-damaged side of the skull of course ! Or actually in front of Sue, either you will treasure far more than anything she could purchase.

Something pertaining to Sue the T. rex I would think. Either the models put out by Safari or something else, I'm sure they have a selection. Haven't been there myself.

:)  Are you talking about the museum in Chicago?

Libraraptor, here is a photo of the Field Museum store that I took years ago.  There were tons of products relating to Sue like stuffed toys, books, pins, mugs, T-shirts, etc.  At the time of my visit, there were also the Sue figures released by Safari, both boxed and loose.  I believe they should continue to carry these nowadays  :)

I'm pretty sure that the Safari figures of Sue and the two ornithischians were discontinued several years ago. The Sue & Friends toob is still in production though, at least it was last year.

The online shop does not have much figures to offer, but those casts might be worth it, a bit expensive though.

When I went two years ago they still had huge bins of the Safari Sue line figures; I'm not sure if they still have them. Libraraptor I have a bunch of the Anatotitans from that line available if you want one and the museum doesn't have any.
