Yesterday and today the forum's search function hasn't been working when I try to use it.  When I try searching, it brings up a page saying:

Database Error
Please try again. If you come back to this error screen, report the error to an administrator.

I couldn't enter the forum for about 8 hours or so yesterday. Everything was fine on the afternoon but then it was out all night.

For me it was all ok at least from 8 PM yesterday to 5 AM today, but I can't say about earlier yesterday.

It was out last night for me too. Happened once before a couple months ago.

I think I might have resolved whatever issue was causing all the recurring downtime. Over a fortnight ago I made some significant changes behind the scenes and the server hasn't gone down since. It could just be a coincidence, but fingers crossed that this frustrating problem has been nipped in the bud. Time will tell...  O:-)

Edit - I might have spoken too soon. I think we just had a couple of minutes downtime :)
