Top 10 figures polls - guidelines & poll ideas

I have a question:
Should the Top 10 Spinosaurus poll be remade?
From 2017 have been released a lot of new Spinosaurus figures (most of which refer to the newer reconstructions). Between Mattel, Favorite, Schleich, Safari, PNSO, the upcoming Papo one (and maybe the REBOR one) etc etc... I think that there's enough material to update the poll.
In any case I think that, if we update it, we should wait at least the release of the Papo one to refresh the poll results.
What do you think of this idea? I think that, after all the new and upcoming releases, the top 10 classify would turn out pretty different from the last one.

I think we may have to wait until Rebor's Spino shows up. Nothing's come of it yet

Good to wait till the dust settles on these new releases. It's been a great year with a bit more to come. Dr. Admin had previously suggested that the T-rex poll should have a five year wait before being renewed. If that seems a bit long to some. at least the principle is sound, because there's always new material entering the market.

I think stegosaurs in general would be nice, as we've gotten quite a lot of obscure species lately (many from PNSO, but some others here and there), aside from the plethora of Stegosaurus options out there.

It would be great if those companies who made those out-of-stock figures could see this vote and republish their models again.

If a poll related to stegosaurs is next, I second making it a 'stegosaurs in general' poll.

'Top figures you want but will never get' is also a nice idea for a topic (and AFAIK, an original one), however I think it's a bit too general of a topic for a poll on it to work (although

@dinotoyforum has the final word on that, so take what I said there with a grain of salt).

I'm happy to see the top 10 stegosaur toys poll open, and it got me thinking about ideas for other top 10 polls. Some choices could be allosauroids and ceratopsids excluding Allosaurus and Triceratops respectively. Both of these groups have been represented with good figures very much which I think could make them fun polls. I remember there was interest in a new top 10 T. rex toys poll, and the time

I like the ankylosaur suggestion as well. Lots of good figures out there now (even though I'm still waiting to see more takes on Borealopelta and Zuul).

Maybe it's just me, but the forum's felt quite quiet with regards to news for a while now. Perhaps it could be fun to have some new top 10 polls? There's currently room for two more as the stegosaur one is still active.

@Gwangi are you still thinking of doing a new top 10 T. rex toys poll? It's hard to believe but it's been over 5 years since the last one!

I'm thinking of doing a top 10 allosauroid toys poll (excluding Allosaurus) as there's been so many good toys of these that it should be a fun poll!

@Sim I'm not terribly interested in doing a T. rex poll at the moment but definitely feel like it's about time we had another. But since I did the last one I think I would personally want to do something different this time. I'm all for polls and starting a new one but that Stegosaur poll was started nearly a year ago now. The polls don't seem as popular as they used to.

S @Syndicate Bias, I don't think there are enough Giganotosaurus figures for a top 10 poll to be worthwhile, but how about a top 10 allosauroid toys poll (excluding Allosaurus)? I'm thinking of doing it but would be happy to let you do it since I know you like this group more than I do!
