I have some "dino food items" lying around if you need a few.

Color me intrigued.  I was thinking after the crocs with prey items they would include a leg or tail or something to hang out of the mouth. lol

A baby Masiakasaurus or Majungasaurus would have been nice. Though I imagine there's enough cost to deal with, when there's all the articulated parts here.

Hope it goes up for pre-order soon. Love to see another PP inspired color scheme. I'm still bummed there's been no official models of the designs in the show.

These look really good. Might have to get the hornless one, as it's hard to imagine another company making a Beelzebufo toy at this level.

Well, I'm on the list for one. Whether that changes down the line, we will see. I'm hoping I'll still be willing and able to support such a unique release!

Available as pre-order.

Not sure I will get one. I may just wait for another company.

Yeah I meant that, sorry. Was a little distracted at the time of posting that.

Oh wow I didn't think they would be that expensive... I preordered the Prehistoric Planet version on BBTS but I may cancel it depending on the funds I have during the summer. The Prehistoric Planet Kiss versions I have on preorder is $59.99 for context.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Gotta love those new tariff prices.  :o

Still not sure which one I'd go with.  The green PP version looks like a normal bullfrog to the layperson.. but then so does the other look like just an odd species of frog too. It's difficult.

The prices are all wrong please don't place your orders yet, we are working with them and proposed to pay tariff ourselves to bring down retail prices to 64.99USD a piece like we suggested in the beginning.

We didn't expect that costs on these figures are insanely high and we've really tried our best to bargain with the factory but couldn't get a better deal. Unfortunately this is another losing money project for us so we are going run one single batch of each variant then cancel them.

avatar_REBOR_STUDIO @REBOR_STUDIO When you pre-order on BBTS you don't pay anything up until the item comes into stock/is ready to ship out thankfully. I believe you can notify BBTS of the price change and they can fix it. I've seen that happen with one of the Hiya Toys Godzilla figures on there.

I'm guessing they would've been way cheaper to produce if it didn't have such elaborate articulation.

Neither do I. The Beelzebufo pair is certainly some of the best work I've seen for prehistoric amphibians. Highly doubt any other company can (or are willing to) match this level of quality for a frog.

Personal criticisms over the company aside, my biggest barrier to acquiring these figures are:
1) Simply how large they are.
2) My first and only experience with Rebor's models was not great ('Monty' Titanoboa).
In this instance, a 1:2 scale model of one of the largest frogs is a tough pill to swallow. Not to mention their track record with the more experimental offerings. Nevertheless, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't tempted by what likely will be the only Beelzebufo on the market for a long long while.

Will these be on any other retailers besides BBTS?

I'll admit that I did feel a twinge of sticker shock when I first saw the listing but that's more and more becoming par for the course in a lot of areas. At the same time, I figured the extra articulation drove some of that cost. Still, nice to know REBOR is working to correct this initial pricing for us

DavidJamesArmsby

I try to buy as many arcticulated animals as I can, exant, extinct, dinos, non-dinos, anything. I already own a bunch of super articulated frogs (mostly from Japanese companies) and they're wonderful little things. This Beelzebufo feels tailor-made for me, honestly. It might be the coolest thing I've ever seen Rebor do and I'll definitely be buying both variants.

All for one and one for all.

Turkeysaurus

#5238
It's large , articulated & looks extremely well detailed & painted. BOTM meets PNSO basically.

Am i only one find it's not that expensive? Compared to latest BOTM?

Any update on Giganotosaurus or Spinosaurus?

Any large sauropods in future? Attachable neck & tail is the way.

Also "Mesozoic Rhapsody"  T.rex is impossible to find. I don't know if it was limited run or sold really well. Maybe another batch?
