...some new picture...

I tried to use different color gels with Led panels to simulate underwater light.
That's the result with my Sideshow Mosasaur.
I hope you'll like it.

Have a nice day  :)

Viking Spawn

Reminds me of an aquarium RobinGoodfellows.  Looks good!  8)

Unfortunately it wasn't an easy setup.
I took the Mosa with me at my studio (I'm a photographer..).
It was a test for some new custom Led Panels a friend made for me.
The Panels work very well.....  ^-^

Not to go all retro, but I wonder what it would look like under a black light?

Technically speaking the Mosa wasn't under a black light ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_light ) but something similar.
I used 3 custom-made Led Panels ( like this:  http://theonlinephotographer.typepad.com/.a/6a00df351e888f8834016764795f59970b-800wi ).
Every Panel has a dimmer ( a selector ) for the color: you can freely choose light's color from red to blu ( and everything in-between ).
I used one panel with a violet light that looks like the Wood's light.
The second Panel was set to green ( for the backlight ).
The third Panel was set to deep blu (for the background).
Also I used a standard photographic lamp with a faint bluish gel ( a plastic filter that you can put over a lamp ) to lighten the strong color effect of the led panels.
Finally I used Photoshop on the background to put it more out of focus.
The camera was a Canon 5D MK2 with a 28mm lens.

Not exactly a simple setup.....  ;)
But it was a test for the new Panels and an ancient marine reptile was perfect for that  ;D

Have a nice day  :)

The work was well worth it!  It looks great.  :)  Congrats on the Bullyland Batrachotomus.

postsaurischian

:) You got the Batrachotomus in a very nice condition. This is the reddish second edition. Did you know the first edition was blueish?

Lovely group shot of the most important Bullyland figures! The missing green Plateosaurus on all four isn't that bad. I think you could like it having it in your hands :).

I saw the blueish version ONLY by pictures:  http://s672.photobucket.com/user/stoneage_2009/media/100_1847.jpg.html
I was lucky to find the second edition; probably the first edition now is almost impossible to find...  :-\

I'm thinking about Plateosaurus....  ;)

Thank you.  :)

[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?
