Thank you, Dinomike. For teeth (and claws) I made them out of apoxie and let them dry and pushed them into the clay. It is bakeable.

I am pretty sure that is intentional. Giving the audience what they want and constantly reminding them that it is not a dinosaur.

This is amazing. I love the bulk on this thing. Something that the JW figures seem to miss.

Funny thing that just hit me with this project--is it official from the producers of JW? Because that was the motivation for incorporating genetically modified dinosaurs--proprietary, trademarked animals (no one can trademark a species, unless they made it up).

On the other hand, they likely wouldn't care--but it would make it nearly impossible to commission elsewhere. In theory.

That's why T.rex ate the lawyer in the first movie. Makes things easier.

A real extinct animal brought back to life has no rights.    When I started it, I wanted to practice some new techniques on something that didn't have to be accurate, and there were no good official sculpts, so I made this. Now there is one, however, but I will buy it anyway.

I decided to put Indy on hold for a while because I have other sculptures to do which have deadlines. Here's a skull I sculpted last night (while the forum was down):

Parasaurolophus cyrtocristatus in 1:20 scale. It was originally supposed to be 1:12 scale however I decided on a smaller scale because I did not start it on schedule. It should be done by October. If I have time I might make a baby inspired by Joe.
