Since the rex looks like he is hunting you should name him Jack after Jack Horner........
Authors with varying competence have suggested dinosaurs disappeared because of meteorites...God's will, raids by little green hunters in flying saucers, lack of standing room in Noah's Ark, and palaeoweltschmerz—Glenn Jepsen

lol  I'm sure that would be a great honor ! heh We've been just calling him Stan after the mount he's based on...but we might change it .  He is hunting, just stalked into the scene we have planned. Right across from him will be a 1:1 Triceratops eventually. :)

On another note, should we be able to help create a model of one of our sculptures for sale, say through Shapeways , which dinosaur would you prefer ? The pose would be the same as on the sculpture in question more or less.  I'm kinda leaning toward an Allosaurus him being our mascot and all. But what do you guys think ?

A sign we just received that will part of a display where visitors can touch a T-Rex tooth and a piece of T-Rex skin !

One of our new items :  2" x 3" souvenir magnets available in two styles, Backyard Terrors logo and Dinosaur Park. 1.00 each plus shipping.

I also have an idea for our fossil dig site area, I'm thinking of setting up a television with a quick repeating program on fossils and what we learn from them , how we use the clues we find to form our ideas ?  Would any of our resident paleontologists here be interested in recording something we could use ? Purely for education purposes in our Park of course.

I would like to own all your sculptures in figure form, but im afraid I would not be able to if Shapeways is what you will be using to bring them to life.

We would use shapeways as casting is just so expensive, even though it will cut into our profits from each sale.  Depending on the cost I may order some for the gift shop here. Of course you can order through me to get them as well. I could work as intermediary , you pay me, I would place the order and have it shipped to you.   It would be a long while before we got them all made. Digital sculpting is just not cheap as some of our artists can attest.   Given time I might hand sculpt some baby Raptors in jars as I used to ..like specimens ?  I sold those for around 75.00 minus shipping , time and materials counted.

Looks fantastic, Blade!

Thank you ! He's a pretty gnarly dude..lots of red on his feathers , battle scars all over his face..bite and slash wounds... missing scales he's a fighter .  I almost called him " Chief "  but could pass up the Cowboy Bebop anime references..lol this is Vicious , Julia was the firs tone, and Spike is the next pack member. ;)

:)  Nice work!  How long did it take to put the feathers on?

Takes around 3-4 hours to apply them..to cut them is another story.

I'll gladly commit a sin... where is that "like" button when you need one?

That new raptor and the nearly finished rex are just great.
