I'm the same way with my stuff. Finally step if what drives not the process. The process of most of my projects annoys me.

Oh yeah, completely understand that.  From these guys to my obsession with drawing every single scale...lol Getting to the end result can't come soon enough..mostly because I always have something else going on in my head I want to do next.  heh  ^-^

One of my favorite quotes that keeps me working :

" Creation. Is an act of sheer WILL. " - John Hammond

Haha, I totally agree with you!  I have WAY too many ideas and things I want to do next then get frustrated because I need to do "this" first but I want to work on "next" more.  Hehe.  That's a great quote. JP has some of the best lines. I should put that in my sig. I quote that movie almost everyday.  And I'm a horrible procrastinator. Which reminds me, I should really get back to work on my T-rex comic.

Agreed. I have to know when to get off the computer and actually get back to work...lol

I have had that quote stuck on my monitor for years now..gives me a kick whenever I need it just remembering Hammond saying that.  :))

I already liked this on facebook but this is just awesome!  The styrac is coming along nicely too!  Do you plan on giving it big fleshy nostrils?

If the sculptor has nothing but science his hands will have no art.

Perhaps just a tiny bit? On the other hand, the illusion might be balanced later once the array of spikes are there.

Darko2300

Maybe a tad long - if you look at the Hartman and GSP skeletals, it looks like you could fit the depth of the frill in between the back of the head and shoulder blades. Does that make sense? Like, taking the animal in profile - if you visually copy just the frill portion of the animal and move it back till it hits the shoulder blade, it should nestle perfectly between the aforementioned shoulder blade and the back of the original frill. (God, I hope that made sense...)  ::)

To summarize: Maybe a little long?  ;D (Though I'd look at Krentz' Styracosaurus...)

Blade-of-the-Moon

Thanks guys I know what you mean ...I'm going to try cutting it down a little bit and see how it goes. I've seen figures of these guys with almost no neck at all and some with quite a bit.

Krentz's Styrac has it's head in the air much like the Papo one..so no real help there. I'm going to check it out and see..I'll let you guys know how it goes. ;)

ZoPteryx

Looking good!  Yeah, the neck looks a wee bit too long, maybe cut it down by about 1/4 or 1/5. :)
