Yay your coelophysis is out in the field! Man you pump those out really fast. So how much of the details ended up showing? I think you were a bit worried about that because you worked so hard on the teeth?

The first of two lol  Man it doesn't feel fast..this guy should have only taken a week but I'm building other props, doing repair work..and it's just HOT here.  I think it turned out ok :



Definitely stockier than the spindly little guys from my youth.  I'm pleased they will blend so well, gotta try the eyes at night now too.

Thanks! Yeah the forked tongue was on the Horizon model which is a cast from the SWS maquette, The toy that "squirted venom" even has a forked tongue.  I looked for pics of the animatronic , models, I couldn't find a really good clear pic.  It seemed that a lot of them had slight differences, even all the official ones.   I do know Horner came in and nixed the flicking tongues of the raptors as being too lizard like.   However in the novel the Rex had a forked tongue.  So I don't know if it ended up in the final movie as it's hard to see at one point it did have it and I figure if your going the move monster route why not go all the way?

Trying to decide where to go with this guy next..full body, half body bustin' out of a crate,  animated neck/non-animated, water spraying effect or not..the latter I'm not even sure I know how to do..lol

Blade, those head sculpts are top notch.

I bet people (and especially kids) would like some waterspray effect, triggered by a movement sensor or such... great idea!

I have a system for spraying a blast of air with just a bit of water, I need to see how it can be adapted to work for this, it also requires an air compressor and water reservoir.

Thank you! It's not much I haven't posted on it in a bit.  Still figuring out videos on this phone and my time is pretty limited anyone, more redtape and county junk.
