Is it made of a pliable rubber or hard plastic?

Is this a decolored variant?

Or another custom job?:||

I have not seen such questions at the creamy Lambeosaurus.

Original Invicta made of hard rubber.

I bought on eBay from the person I bought the original closed "paint yourself" set and other never-opened Invicta boxes

Some glory in the forum that they were top Invicta collectors. They should be worried about their place:D

As far as I know a white Muttaburrasaurus was never a part of a paint your own- set.If it is hard rubber it has probably been decolored on purpose.  Or there are variants I do not know about yet.

I also have a white rubber stegosaur and mamenchisaurus (not included in the painting kit too).

I don't believe there is a Lambeosaurus other than the brown one, and yet someone has one

We obviously don't know everything about Invicta yet.

We're happy for you if these white figures are authentic originals, and they do seem to be. But as the dodgy gold Iguanodon proves, things aren't always what they seem. We're concerned, not jealous! We don't want to see fellow collectors get scammed.

I understand why folks here might be wary of such variants now, because in the past, few of them appeared and were actually known to exist. All of sudden several variants pop on eBay, might raise a few eyebrows. There are examples of common toys repainted and put on eBay for sale as if the color is original or at least, not mentioning it was repainted, like the golden Iguanodon.I've seen it happen to Safari dinos, Papo, Schleich, Invicta, and more. Sometimes the person selling doesn't even know the model was repainted, they are simply selling their kids old toys or something they found in a garage sale and are flipping online to make some extra cash.

In my opinion, it does not really matter if you got a painted one with the paint job removed or a variant made in white plastic and sold exactly like that with no paint. Either way it is a rare version of a model, made in white plastic.

I don't think this one is a custom, looks quite clean and pristine and the color appears to be the plastic color, not paint. Also, there are several examples of white, black, even lime green and orange plastic being used in the Invictas. Some of which were never released as painted versions, such as Lambeosaurus or Dimetrodon. This proves some examples made it to the market in different colored plastic, unpainted.

So, these variants are either made in different plastic simply because the factory was out of the original color, or maybe they are the ones from that other factory Invicta comissioned to handle the production for a while. Or they were made that way intended to be painted, so that is why the plastic color didn't matter, but they ended up being sold as is before painting. It is still a rarer color and worth being collected.

What you have to be careful is check if the color is from the plastic and not a common variant spray painted white. That is all. It the plastic is white, congrats, you've have an awesome find.

It's a white color, it hasn't been repainted. You have to believe me or visit my Invicta and Jurassic Park collections in Poland:)

Awesome! I remember this. Very nostalgic for me!

Sadly I lost the Scelidosaurus many years ago and the poster (which was partly used in the boxes) didn't made it so long.

So the Invicta Mammoth is the only Mammoth I have in my collection.

It's great how much we care about Invictas.

If i had a toy company, it would probably produce Charles R Knight , Crystal Palace, oldest depiction etc. of Dinosaurs. There is no competition, they would be popular among collectors imo.
