You are proof that paleoart doesnt need to be complex to be good and fun. I love the electronic bull t rex story, I remember my dad also did similar things.

Paleona

S @Simone Thanks so much! I really love working with warm colors :')

avatar_Stegotyranno420 @Stegotyranno420 Thanks for the kind comment! I'm glad the little Bull T. rex story brought back some good memories of your own. Dad's are good at being sneaky like that, haha.
The extended version is: It must have been summer in 1997- I was home during the day when my dad called me from work, out of the blue. He asked me to check the stairs to the attic to see if he had forgotten his planner at home. So I went to go check for him, but instead of a planner sitting on the steps- there was the big rex in his box ^-^ It's a little thing that I'll never forget

Here's my most recent paleoart!

A sleepy albino Scutellosaurus lounging at home:

And another batch of extinct friends, this time it's a baby mammoth, the Tully Monster, and Diictodon!

I'll probably take a short break from paleontology stuff to work on some other art, but I hope you enjoy ^-^

These are just so fantastic. I love the domestic fantasy art in particular. (Also, hey! That painting in the upper left corner of the Scutellosaurus piece... I see what you did there.)

Thanks so much! Drawing prehistoric life in modern day settings has become my favorite thing, haha. Also, I'm happy you caught the little reference there ;)

Libraraptor

I like those pictures very much!

JohannesB

Beautiful. Peaceful, evocative and very characterful. Your illustrations would fit in any good encyclopedia of prehistoric life (and not just "for children"), I think :-)

Thank you so much! That means a lot. Adults can absolutely enjoy varied art styles!

Thanks everyone for the kind words :')

Here's a couple more pics!

Want to join this Psittacosaurus for dinner?  ^-^

A good boy!

Hope you all have a nice weekend!

Hi everyone, I hope you're all gearing up for a relaxing weekend~ I'm dropping by with a couple more illustrations ^-^

A tiny kitten encounters an Oviraptor nesting in the garden.

A young Giraffatitan wandering nearby a cabin dream home~ I particularly loved working on this one, painting more loosely.

I'd like to draw something with a thyreophoran next- ankylosaurs are my favorite, but it's been a while since I've drawn a stegosaur, so maybe a spiky friend is in order ^-^

Dusty Wren

Oh my gosh, both of these are just so lovely. The Oviraptor reminds me of a cuter version of all the nest-guarding Canada geese I encounter on walks in the spring.
Check out my customs thread!

Nixx

These are adorable, amazing, all the A words!

thedeadlymoose

Wow! I adore both of those very much. The young Giraffatitan is very lovely. The Oviraptor is wonderful and I hope it adopts the kitten. <3

I love everything about this aesthetic.

I share the love of ankylosaurs and thyreophorans in general! Can't wait to see the spiky friend.

Libraraptor

Again,  great little works of art!

Paleona

Thanks so much, everyone!

avatar_Dusty Wren @Dusty Wren - Oh yeah, definitely do not mess with nesting geese, haha. I used to go for walks where there were a ton of them, and I always gave them plenty of space. They would hiss and even charge at you 😳

T @thedeadlymoose That's such a cute idea! (The Oviraptor adopting the kitten) Not sure how well that would work out, lol.

Thinking of doing something with Kentrosaurus- it's been my fave stegosaur since I was kid, in large part because of the Tyco toy. I know they're kinda popular, but whatever! Hopefully I'll get a good idea for it soon 🌻
