How these figures look together? [Comparison Thread]

I can also contribute to the Sucho/Bary comparison. Although they are similar in size, PNSO's Thabo is definitely the larger of the two.

Man they really pair so nicely together (feel the same way with the Safari Ltd Sarcosuchus with the new PNSO Suchomimus). It's so good to finally have updated models of both Baryonyx and Suchomimus. The Suchomimus might be third on my wishlist after I get my hands on the Dunkleosteus and Acrocanthosaurus, whenever that will be. It's definitely a must have for me, and what's funny is even though I did want an updated Suchomimus figure, I always preferred Baryonyx of the two growing up, and even recently. I think both JWE2 and this new PNSO figure has changed things up a bit. Probably also helps that Suchomimus is the best known spinosaurid currently as well, the ecosystem it is from contains some of my favorite prehistoric animals, namely Ouranosaurus and Sarcosuchus. At least the latter two has a decent option, with another on the way with Rebor's. Just hope Ouranosaurus gets a much needed update to join them some day.

Thanks for your great shots of the Baryonyx and Suchomimus.
I would have thought Suchomimus should be taller than Baryonyx, but it definitely seems longer with more mass here.
I love the two, can't wait to pass my long overdue order to Everything Dinosaur once this one and others are in stock.

I love Spinosauridaes and especially Baryonyx, love the Safari, one of my favorite figure in my collection.
Got used to the basic brown color.

I haven't seen much mention of the Lego Ideas dinosaur skeletons on this forum, but here's how they look with the same genera from some other lines.

Tyrannosaurus with Battat Tyrannosaurus:

Triceratops with Battat Triceratops:

Pteranodon with Carnegie Pteranodon:

And the group:

Nice shots. I never got triggerd by these Legos.
The Trike was for me not a Trike. Instead it looks like a Torosaurus or Pentaceratops for me

I can see what you mean, avatar_Paleo Flo @Paleo Flo.

Does anyone have the 1/35 BotM T. rex with any of the smaller 1/18 critters (raptors, Protoceratops, and/or Psittacosaurus)? Wondering how it sizes up alongside them. I know they aren't to scale, but I'm guessing this 1/35 T. rex is still bigger then them right? Alternatively Rebor's T. rex would in place of the BotM T. rex.

I posted some comparisons in this thread, with the original Toyway WWD T. rex, and the Rebor one, alongside my WWD BotM T. rex figure that came in last night.

Here you go! I took a shot with the 1/18 Velociraptor and P. andrewsi. As you can see there's still plenty of size difference.

Bonus shot:
Spoiler

Comparison with the 1/18 subadult Trike, i.e. 1/35 adult. I've underestimated just how big Triceratops could get.
[close]

Flaffy

avatar_Fembrogon @Fembrogon Do note that the "Subadult" Trike is more in the 1/30th scale for an average sized individual. For it to work in 1/35 it'd have to be an exceptionally large specimen.

Fembrogon

Yeah, from my rough measurements both the Trike and the T.rex are closest to about 1/33 scale for the max lengths given on the cards (9m & 12.4m, respectively). That said, they're both still in about the same scale; 2-3 meters difference isn't as much as one might think! (especially if it's just tail)

That makes me a bit hesitant.
I might still get it for now, but will we ever get a proper Suchomimus figure someday ?
I'm so sad Vitae did not release theirs

There are good resin kits, but the scale is way to high for me, so is the price...

This aged good. *PNSO Sounds* :D

Faelrin

avatar_Fembrogon @Fembrogon Thanks so much for grabbing those pics. Definitely looks much bigger then those two, despite the T. rex being about half the size of it what is if it were in scale with them. I think they could still look good on a display, despite the scale discrepancy, because at least the bigger species is still somewhat bigger. While I haven't compared them directly, I'm guessing the BotM 1/18 raptors are close in size to the Rebor Deinonychus. Maybe tomorrow I'll get a comparison between this T. rex, them, and the PNSO Deinocheirus.

Don't have my subadult Triceratops on hand to compare with, so that was also helpful.

avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy So wait is the BotM T. rex 1/35 then? I was thinking it might be bigger, because I've seen some people say the Rebor T. rex is too big to be 1/35, and they are roughly the same size (at least eyeballing it). Like I'm just a bit confused. Okay just saw avatar_Fembrogon @Fembrogon's response right before I went to post this.

Stegotyranno420

Does anyone have PNSO Acrocanthosaurus and Deinocheirus, that would be appreciated

Could someone do a comparison with the CollectA Deluxe 2014 Spinosaurus and the PNSO Winter Wilson or Eofauna Giganotosaurus?

Can someone do a comparison of Pnso Mapusaurus and GR/Haolonggood Carcharodontosaurus showing different dimensions of size, aswell as quality of scale detail? Thank you

Rain

Could someone showcase any of the 1/18th BoTM raptors alongside the Safari or Papo velociraptors (feathered ones, of course)? Thanks in advance.

Halichoeres

avatar_Rain @Rain I haven't gotten my photo table set up again after rearranging for my display cabinets, but here's what I can do for now:

For others' requests, I'm not ignoring, I just don't have the figures to fulfill them, sorry!

Oh wow, they're small! Thanks a lot, I appreciate you taking the time to do that.

Halichoeres

No trouble at all! Yes, they're small, more similar to the Toob Velociraptor than the Prehistoric World one.
