I vaguely Remember  that game.... but there is something far superior to all these games

Playing warhammer and using dinosaurs that aren't even real but still look awesome  :))

Not only was the NHM's What dinosaur are you? my favorite dino game, but also (AFAIK) the only good dino personality quiz. All the other quizzes have at least a few bad questions, too many answers to choose from, & answers that are too similar to each other. NHM's quiz had all good questions, the right # of answers, & the right amount of diversity in its answers (E.g. The 1st question asked what you would eat at the school canteen, the choices being a salad, a veggie burger, chicken nuggets, & the lunch lady; This works for me b/c, while I'm a vegetarian, I don't usually care for salads; Compare that to similar questions in the quizzes below). It also helped that, unlike the other quizzes, answering 1 question differently didn't completely change your result. It makes me sad that it's not on the NHM's website anymore. :(

Shark Toothed Lizard

Oof, I would have to say Ark: Survival Evolved. I know it's FAR from accurate, but I'm a sucker for fantasy games. I never played the Isle, but plan on getting it soon.
See, your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.

If you like fantasy games you could always try warhammer.

Quote from: DinoLord on March 15, 2016, 12:33:05 AMI loved that Big Al game as a kid. I really wish it were still on the BBC site; I bet I'd actually be able to get past the sub-adult stage if I had a shot at it, not being limited to the mental capacities of an elementary-school-age child anymore. Anyone know of a way to access it these days? The Planet Dinosaur game that takes it place is sorely underwhelming.

Sadly the original version of the game is lost to time. Only a fan-remake is available.
Most (if not all) Rebor figures are mid

Prehistoric Kingdom. Others are too inaccurate for me, too over the top and not grounded enough, or just 90% violence. ARK is awful.

The Isle has naked Utahraptors. Big no.   I grew up playing jurassic park builder, its cute and I love the art style. Good atmosphere and music too.

The Jurassic Park telltale game had some memorable lore additions to the franchise. love the mutant tylosaur.

AND HOW CAN I FORGET THE BBC SEA MONSTERS GAME. THE GREATEST DINOSAUR GAME OF ALL TIME.

long as my heart's beatin' in my chest
this old dawg ain't about to forget :')

Sarapaurolophus

Turok.

Nah, I'm joking but I was obsessed with that game as a kid (also really scared).
I'll go with Prehistoric Kingdom.

GojiraGuy1954

The Prehistoric Kingdom alpha looks really nice. Can't wait for Beta in Q2 and EA in Q3

Carnivores 2(mainly the mods)
and Battle of giants, dinosaur strike
Seriously, this game was on a collectA level of Obscurity.
Sure, it was morbidly outdated, but it was fun as hell, good bonding experience, and is the reason I love dacentrurus so damn much.
If anyone wants to hear all of the obscure species in the game, i can tell ya. Unfornatley, ist a fighter game, super awesomebro(not that i have a problem with it) and its out of stock wii game

Btw on that quiz, i got dilophosaurus

Kapitaenosavrvs

For me, its Path of Titans. I forgot, if i already posted here :D

Path of Titans is similar to the Idea of the Isle, or any other survival Game, but went more into the MMO"RPG" (in teh Future).
Prerelease is maybe this year, but still alot to do. The Public Test Server gets daily updates. In general, the devs are extremely open and are in direct contact to the Players via e.g. Discord. This game is and will be something special. I hope it will not get toxic like certian other Dinosaur Games.. :D

Also, Prehistoric Kingdom Alpha looks phenometal even at this stage. I've waited for this game for years and right now it looks like it will be the ultimate Park Builder. At the Moment, the Alpha is working and looking so good, you could plan your Dioramas or Bases in there. Love it.

None of the bigger Games got me so far. Turok was a big part in my younger years and i recently played the remastered Turok 1 again. Still fine, but i do not like killing Animals in Games. Jurassic World Evolution was and is a Bummer. Modding gets there a bit, but the Enviroment building is too shallow for me and the recent big Mod making you build EVERYWHERE ( :D ) is just.. okay. Also: not the biggest Jurassic World fan. (Operation Genesis was good, tho!)

Saurian had/has good Ideas, but it will never finish i guess. Same with the Isle. No Deadlines. No real progress... Just empty Words. But in the End, these are just Games.

I've since re-taken it several times w/slightly different answer combinations & realized that I'm more of a Plateosaurus (which isn't too different in terms of lifestyle, but still): http://prehistoricbeastoftheweek.blogspot.com/2017/02/plateosaurus-beast-of-week.html
