So, no need to panic (which, in the context of dinos, puts some funny images in my head of board members running en masse, arms flailing, from plastic figures...).

No, we would be running en masse, arms flailing, towards them!
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

My source clarified:

The figure does come with prepaid entry tickets which are sold out but it's also one of the four available via machine at the Expo.

The bundle ticket (entrance + Spinosaurus figure) isn't sold out. A friend of mine just got me one.

Would they be able to get me one too please ?

these figures are on the yahoo auctions for a while but the prices seems a little bit high for now. if anyone wants to check, this key words may work for a quick search "恐竜博 2016"

I have attended the 2016 Dino Expo.  Here are some of the figures sold in the venue

I have a few spare Kaiyodo Dino Expo capsule sets.

Please PM.

Thanks.

Wow, that larger Expo Spinosaurus also looks terrific! I'm not as sold on the Rex though.

Fancy new boxes they have produced for these Expo figures. Does take up more shelf space though, not big on that.

The box is quite huge and does take up previous shelf space, but the diorama is really well done

The sad part? I just want the fish that I only just now realized comes with it  :o. I'm not willing to spend the full price of the model just to get it though.

I actually did spring for the Spino, partly gambling that it might come with a fish, and I'm happy now that I did!

I couldn't justify the amount to myself. Hopefully it's a proper age-appropriate species, even better a named one!

I'll be curious to know what scale it's in...

Sean, there's a Takara Pteranadon that comes with a tiny Coelacanth. It's actually very well sculpted and coloured.

It is named, but I'm not sure about it being a proper age-appropriate species :-\.

Well, although the Paleobiology database isn't a perfect reference, there are at least 2 (I stopped after that) showing Spinosaurus sp. remains in the same localities as Lepidotes.

On that note...if anyone needs a new home for a Lepidotes, I would be happy to help you out. And yes, I can/will pay for it. I just don't need another big Spinosaurus. But I need that fish.

Halichoeres

Lepidotes, huh? I'll take it! But not for a while, mine is on the next shipment. Thanks for posting, postsaurischian!

I have a bid for this set on eBay.  If that falls through I'll definitely want the Spinosaurus and T-Rex if you have any left by next week.

It's not a store--you need to order through Brett, and have his source pick them up.

If there are any still available, and if his source can get in to get them.
