Translation of the page is a little wonky as usual, but I think it indicates 4 10 cm figures at 500 yen each.

I copied the photo but it won't upload to Photobucket.  Anyone?

http://www.dino2016.jp/ticket/index.html

I'll take preorders at any time but will solicit them more formally when we have all of the information.

Thanks.

Oh, interesting. I wonder which 4 species it will include. Spinosaurus is shown and I expect that Tyrannosaurus will be in it as well, given that it is prominently featured on the posters. Thus the line up is:

1. Spinosaurus
2. Tyrannosaurus
3. ???
4. ???
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

I'm expecting Tyrannosaurus rex to be one of them just as you are.I'm also guessing that the other two models will be a skeleton of each of the aforementioned species.
Don't you hate it when you legitimately compliment someone's mustache and she gets angry with you?

If I'm reading it correctly, the Spinosaurus was a bonus sold with advance tickets--and all of the tickets are sold out! It may have included all 4, the translation wasn't clear.

There is also reference to a limited Capsule series. This is listed as 500Y for the 4; it may therefore not be a vending-machine-sttyle set, but perhaps a box set?

That figure is going to be Expen$ive.

Is there a bigger image than this one? It looks to be a lovely figure, as these expo pieces generally are.

Great looking Spino! I imagine this will be another hard to find Expo set... too bad, these beauties deserve broader recognition.

These will probably end up on Yahoo Japan or Amazon Japan.  If so, if you haven't already, you may want to set up a buying service account with "Tenso" or "Buyee" since a lot of those sellers don't ship overseas.

I thought that might have been the case as well, Sean.  But I'm waiting to hear from my source before stating it here outright.

What she told me so far is that there are four figures and they are to be available via machine, but that was before I asked specifically about this issue.

Will update ASAP.

Or Jauce. Or teh DTF's own brettnj, who acts as a proxy with sources in Japan himself. Do that one--more personalized service! Has has helped me find so many long-sought Japanese figures!

Thanks for the tip!  :)

My source clarified:

The figure does come with prepaid entry tickets which are sold out but it's also one of the four available via machine at the Expo.

So, no need to panic (which, in the context of dinos, puts some funny images in my head of board members running en masse, arms flailing, from plastic figures...).

The Spinosaurus is definitely a must-have ^-^!
Good to see that Kaiyodo is back in the Dino Expo business.

Good news and thanks for checking this out.

Megalosaurus

I'm not particulary interested in the new Spino, but want to see the other figures.
