Has anyone ordered these dinosaurs from Amazon PNSO?
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07V43FMJF/ref=twister_B07MH76Q73?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
They look like the ones from China Post but without the Sinosauropteryx, am I wrong? What scale are they?
Thanks

Yep, they are the China Post figures (w/out the Sinosauropteryx).

Based on the lengths given in the Amazon pictures, these are the approximate scales for them (since it always seems to happen, if anyone more knowledgable than me can explain why a particular length estimate is better than another, please do):

Huayangosaurus: 1:41
Yangchuanosaurus: 1:68-1:92
Gigantoraptor: 1:78
Microraptor: 1:6-1:10
Tsintaosaurus: 1:78
Thanks Ravonium!

You're welcome. I had missed out the Mamenchisaurus, which, depending on the species, could be anywhere from 1:92 to 1:248 scale.

Dino Scream3232

Got the new minis in yesterday from Amazon. They are nice looking figures. The Microraptor and Tsintaosaurus are my favorites so far from the set. https://youtu.be/WjV2zefiVOc

Thanks for showing us the video  :) , although I'm not 100% sure I'd call them 'minis'. (they're all closer in size to the smallest Museum Line figure than to any of the main mini line)

Killekor

Thanks for the video, D @Dino Scream3232 ! It has been very useful for me.
Honestly, I'm deluded. I didn't expect this figures to be THAT small. I hoped to see some medium sized models, but those minis are just a pass for me.

Before I saw Dino scream's video I was surprised too. But, after discovering the size of this new figures, I remembered some photos I saw somewhere on this forum of Sinosauropteryx's prototype. In those images (if I remember correctly) the sinosauropteryx was a lot bigger than the figures in the video, and it also had a more detailed base.
So I think that it's part of another line, probably in the same of the Spinosaurus and amargasaurus (although in another scale).

Killekor
Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

Flaffy

These aren't new sculpts. They're just repackaged China Post minis.

When this set was first announced I thought they would be larger too avatar_Killekor @Killekor. Totally forgot about the 7 little set these where apart of. PNSO definitely had/have plans making some of these in a larger scale. Hopefully those will see the light of day. Would love for the Tsintaosaurus and Gigantoraptor to released in a larger size.

PhilSauria

I would buy that reclining Tsintaosaurus in a shot (what am I saying - I will buy just about anything, minis aside, that PNSO releases!).

Dinosaurs in naturalistic poses that remind us that they are no different to animals that we share the planet with now - only long gone, really appeal to me.

Killekor

Thanks for the info, both Flaffy, RobinGoodfellow, and Dino Scream!
I didn't recognize these figures! I thought that they were the ones that Dino Scream just posted. Let's hope to see them released too.

ceratopsian

Exactly. I've wanted the reclining Tsintaosaurus since I first saw images of it. I love PNSO in general but that particular model is top of my list.

Shonisaurus

The gigantoraptor with the nest of eggs of PNSO and the lying tsintaosaurus are two sincerely tempting figures. Sincerely, other brands can expect to see what maybe PNSO can offer us in the future.

A PNSO microraptor even of a size like its ophtalmosaurus would have no problem buying it. It looks magnificent.

suspsy

I guess it's safe to assume that the reclining Tsintaosaurus, the nesting Gigantoraptor, and those others will be at the biggest size class. Well out of my price range, but I hope they're all released in due course.

I'm still dying to know if there's going to be at least one more figure in the mid-size range. Seems like it's been enough time since the reveal of the Dakosaurus to unveil another animal!

I've been thinking exactly the same.  I think we've got so used to their recent packed release schedule that we have been spoilt!

KeU

Not much news on the Chinese threads either.....
Not used to having a lull for PNSO news and releases.

Then again, we had a lull of a few years didn't we.

Shonisaurus

I suppose that PNSO will commercialize its figures again, that is to say, it will reveal new figures of prehistoric animals after September (summer) and we would even have to wait until the end of this year at the beginning of next year. Many figures have been revealed and I sincerely believe that they have now taken their moment of rest.

ceratopsian

I had a Facebook message from PNSO today - nothing about new releases as it was about a different matter, but someone was there at least!  Realistically, they cannot possibly keep up the packed release schedule we were seeing.  It was skewed by their long hiatus, as they had a backlog of models all ready for release.

Ooh, too bad these aren't sold separately! I'd like a 1:40 scale Huayangosaurus!
Maybe I can find the Kaiyodo one someday.

You can order them separately on Amazon. I wanted to grab a "sample" of them, so I ordered only the Gigantoraptor. Apart from the nuisance of leaning to the right (as shown in the video), it is nice and detailed. I have the big diorama of the Chungkingosaurus and Yangchuanosaurus, so I don't need a smaller Yangchuanosaurus.  ;)
However, I find the Microraptor very tempting now.  ::)

Atokensis

Does PNSO release their figures surprisingly like Rebor?

Just ordered my very first PNSO figure, Sede the Ankylosaurus to go into my papo collection. Tempted for Yangchuanosaurus/Chungkingosaurus set.
