Actually I don't really speak much Dutch at all. To my shame.  :-[ I need to learn! But I'm a bit lazy...

The quote I might have nicked from the Dierenpark Amersfoort website (I went there and wrote a review of the dinos for LITC...check out the archive for December last year)

I am an early member of the original DTF

Joined Jan 28, 2008.  However I am a lurker, after 4 years I only had 266 posts.  I do visit the site daily though and I belive this is the best source for dino-toy news and info.

Hi Nobs, glad you found your way over to the new forum, and 266 posts isn't bad at all!  ;D

Tylosaurus

Welcome to the new forums Nobs :)  I hope you will find your self home here like the rest of us did :)

I joined the forum in February of this year. I was watching this forum for a while before I actually joined it. Anyway, its nice to be back.

Hello everyone! I was a lurker/newbie on the old forum. I'll just copy/paste my old intro here as it's still relevant. Heehee.

Ever since I was little I've loved dinosaurs. Is that when the love for dinosaurs starts when we are wee little children?  I also happen to be a *gasp* female! Shhhhhh. I was a tomboy when I was little and I kinda still am. I not only collect dinosaur toys but a variety of other toys as well. I love toys!
I have a small to medium size dinosaur toy collection. I love reading and own several dinosaur books. Always looking for children's picture books in thrift stores. Most of my collections come from thrift stores or second hand shops, garage sales and yard sales. I wish we had boot sales over here in America. They sound like fun! ^_^ Also I sleep with a T-Rex plushie.
Well that's enough boring from me.

Also I'm from Denver, Colorado.

Nice to meet everyone again!

P.S. The My Little Pony Arena recently changed forums too and it's a similar style to this one! LOL
It's like being licked by kittens, while riding a unicorn through a tickle forest!

Glad to see you here Thrift. How odd about TMLPA: they even stamped the slanted word 'archive' in red on a faded banner on their old forum. I suppose great minds think alike! ;D

My username is from an old Critic episode as seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LyGMiwOGBfM.  I've been collecting dinosaurs on and off for about 15 years, although I really don't have much to show for it.  I had mainly collected JP toys however I sold a lot of my collection off a few years ago.  Now I mainly focus on getting dinosaur figures/models/statues that I like, scientific accuracy isn't a big deal for me personally.  I joined the original DTF back in February 2008 and it took me four years to get a whooping 63 posts. ;D

Brilliant, I had no idea. I just presumend Pilkington was your actual name  :D

Pilkington

I wish I had a cool name like Pilkington!  I loved that show it's a shame it only lasted 2 seasons...
If you wanna be alone, come with me

Weaver

Hi there! I'm Weaver! I'm a still newish collector who joined DTFv.1 last fall and well things have been slow here. Health-scares with my parents have kept me away. I live in South-Central Colorado (south of Pueblo) and I've rediscovered my fascination with dinosaurs and non-dinos of all shapes and sizes. I'm a casual paleo-artist (or at least I think I am) and I like to sculpt too. I'm trying to make my art pay for itself but... that is hard. My collection is tiny (been collecting off and on) but I am finally able to display my dinos and non-dinos with pride.

I also am crazy about museums. I love going to see the mounted specimens.

Tylosaurus

Welcome aboard Weaver!  I hope you will enjoy your stay here, this is afterall the best place to be when Collecting Dino's & Prehistoric research is your thing!
