Glad to see the rumors about this one being in the film are essentially confirmed now, especially since the JW site has listed it, but it was a no show in the film. I just hope the rumors about the Carnotaurus are true too.

Still nothing new on the Indoraptor, other then it possibly being in this new book thing. I think that image they keep posting as the "Indoraptor" is just the Indominus maquette in shadow. I'll stand by that, until something official proves otherwise.
It may also be a life size "Indo Raptor" animatronic, as Bayona has been shown to be bringing more into the series.

Sounds like 2019 would be a good time for Safari to drop a Baryonyx figure.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

A couple of spinosaurs would be welcome.

This is from the official FALLEN KINGDOM AR book:

"Learn how to bond with and train alpha Velociraptor "Blue", then use her as your protector and guide as you encounter other dinosaurs through the app. From brand-new movie dinosaur characters including awesome Baryonyx and a terrifying new hybrid breed, to old favourites like T. Rex and Stegosaurus, this Jurassic World AR book will wow readers all over again."

There's also another one where we see the T. rex and baryonyx.

As nice as it is to have the Compies back, it's sad to see the other designs they butchered in Jurassic World haven't been fixed (fully). The Gallimimus look much better, but the Ankylosaurus, Stegosaurus, Triceratops and worst of all that god awful disfigured Pteranodon are still the JW versions instead of the originals.

I can't help but feel they're only even adding Baryonyx to shaft Spinosaurus as hard as possible, if not and both are in than shame on me fair, but if they really are being that petty than it's disgusting.

Trevorrow spends so much time making a big show about "he's the ultimate Jurassic Park fan" and only the original movie is good enough for him that I can't help but take it personally that be ruined the designs of every dinosaur introduced in the sequels, and I'm not inclined to see it as a coincidence.

The T rex looks a lot better than it did in Jurrasic World, it also looks nothing like the prop we saw a few months earlier.

Looks like the Baryonyx will have at least a scene of his own, good. Its design though, for what we can see in that clip, doesn't seem particularly great.

To me seems more the snout of a spinosaurid, Indoraptor should be a mix between Indominus and Velociraptor. Would have preferred a design similar to the JP3 Spinosaurus, but maybe it's just too few seconds of footage to say.

Appalachiosaurus

That doesn't look like a Baryonyx at all, not even in passing. Just look at it... It looks like someone took the raptor model gave it a few bumps.

Well at least the CGI designs are consistent with the first JW film. The CGI will probably look better in the final movie, I hope, but I think it's okay for now. I'm glad to see the compies are back again, especially with Papo releasing a JP styled one for 2018. I can only think that not all the creatures are going to be making it off that island, considering the eruption already beginning in that one teaser. I wonder if this will be like that one Pompeii movie from a couple of years ago, but with JW thrown into the mix of it, in terms of the eruption special effects and whatnot. I'm glad to see the Baryonyx is really going to be in the film as well. That should be interesting. It looks pretty creepy there though.

Looks poor, not for me. I really didn't like JW and it looks like this sequel will just be more of the same. :-\

"This is gonna be awesome".  ::) Gee, they are trying too hard. Or not hard enough, depending on how you look at it :P

Doctor Grant; my dear Doctor Sattler: welcome... to modern pop culture.

(Where the trailers for movies are almost hyped as much as the movies themselves, and the one thing that seems to validate them is someone on a camera, somewhere, saying 'this is gonna be awesome'...)

Colin Trevorrow also confirmed that it is a Baryonyx on his twitter account. So far I'm not really impressed with how it looks, although that may be due to lighting. It seems slightly consistent with the JP Spinosaurus, in regards to the head shape which I would be okay with. Hopefully there are better shots to get a better look at it. I also hope it has the big fishhook claws. At the very least they could get that right. At least the proportions don't seem too bad either, though maybe the arms could be a little bigger.

Edit: I have to wonder if they are sticking with the retro styled design to keep it consistent with their other retro styled dinosaurs. Either that or lack of research, but eh. At least that reasoning sort of justifies it. Also the whole movie monster thing as was discussed previously.
