I´m sorry, but creating threads for the sole purpose of promoting another one of your threads definitely meets the spam criteria. After this much time, I don´t think the problem is that only few people see this poll. I, for example, made a few repaints this year, but I wouldn´t want to enter that poll. It takes hours upon hours of research, deciding on a colour scheme, obtaining the supplies and then painting the dinosaur in order to give form to what I imagine. Having my work judged and then put into a top 10 list not only seems vain, but it also trivializes the whole endeavour and would thus be bound to hurt my feelings. I guess I´m not the only one who sees it this way, otherwise people would be more enthusiastic about participating.

I must confess I agree, I only "entered" in hopes it would help this die down faster.

If this was an arts contest in which participants were given time to plan and create an entry, for the contest, that would be another matter. I recommend killekor, if you're actually interested in this sort of thing, that you make a more formalized suggestion of such an event.
