So I guess its an alternate telling of the original. Only things go right.    I'm not sure if I like the thought of marine reptiles in the film. It would be horrible if they call them dinosaurs in the movie as well.         Well atleast It could be better then those humanoid abominations that they tried to use

Primeval12

Maybe it was based off of the marine level of jurassic park builder.

I'm pissed at that game. I played it for nearly a year and the thing up and crashed on me. Glad I never spent real money on it.

The basic story sounds interesting for JP4 but some of the details sound foolish, like the strung up white shark as a "feeder fish".

tyrantqueen

So the image I posted earlier was kind of correct...huh.

Marine reptiles and tamed dinosaurs...I don't like it.

CityRaptor

Yes, they idea of tamed Dinosaurs sounds weird in context of JP.

I mean imagine that:
"That beast is running loose! Release the Tyrannosaurus!"

It's probably a jab at the Meg novels and the Megalodon Fanboys. Although it would be more effective if they used a living white shark as a feeder fish, to add a "Worf Effect".
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Hermes888

Well if that's what the film is going to be, why is it being called Jurassic Park IV? Make it some new series! That would give them a lot of creative freedom! Of course they won't because Jurassic Park as a brand sells...

My friend Jack (co-creator and performer of the Jurassic Time: Annotated tracks) hosted this special interview with the director of Jurassic Park 4, Colin Trevorrow! Check it out below!

Jurassic Time is back... and this time, it will stay with you forever.

Jurassic Time... it can now belong in your own museum.

Concavenator

It seems that JP 4 is including a new badass dinosaur.I read there are rumours for a Balaur,a Mapusaurus and a Giganotosaurus,If they make the appearance of a Balaur...Papo might release it,who knows?LoL  ;D
That would be great.
And  I'm pretty sure that Papo will release another marine reptile based on Jurassic Park's.I think in 2016 we'll see more JP figures from Papo.
Am I going offtopic?  :-X

Blade-of-the-Moon

No your fine, though it's a bit of old news.

I'm personally pulling for a Carnotaurus finally .

scallenger

I agree! I hope it is Carnotaurus!

I can't find the exact quote right now, but I remember a while back Jack Horner said it was a dinosaur that would creep one out enough to "not be able to sleep well at night". So something involving the dark? Or maybe it is the Carnotaurus since he blends in with the background in the novel, a child could think he is seeing him move in the dark, lol.

I would like to see Jodie Foster, Julianne Moore and Tomer Sisley in the fourth movie.  :) :)

Some time in 2014 I think...but it could get delayed again. I would think they'd be aiming for a summer release, but I don't know.

It's not coming out in 2014 anymore. A few months back they announced it was pushed back to 2015 due to the script being re-written by the director and his co-writer from his previous film. Apparently this is all for the best, but the director seems pretty confident on where this is all going based on that podcast interview. They may very well be done with the re-write now.

Oh, my mistake then. I guess it was just wishful thinking on my part that'd it be out in 2014.

CityRaptor

Atleast that way they can avoid concurrence with "The good Dinosaur".
