not for Jurassic World (I think) but I somehow couldn't find (I'm sure there must be one) a general JP thread

My favorate was always the T. rex head smashing through the wall.

But the T. rex and flaming DNA would have been cool to see.
I may not like feathered dinosaurs and stumpy legged Spinosaurs, but I will keep those opinions to myself, I will not start a debate over it, I promise. 😇

Chris Pratt has good things to say about Jurassic World, if that means anything to anyone: http://www.wkrq.com/2014/08/07/pratt-jurassic-world-wont-disappoint/

Quote"Oh man, I just wrapped on it two days ago. They're still working for another few weeks. It is going to knock your socks off. It's gonna be so awesome, so awesome," he gushed to Collider. "And to the long time fans of the franchise, it is in good hands. Colin is a huge fan, he is gonna deliver a movie that is worthy of the brand and I swear to you it is just gonna be so good I already know it. I can tell."

I have no idea who this guy is, but this can only be a good thing, right?

Yutyrannus

Well, maybe he doesn't care about real dinosaurs, so it might not be a good thing for us.

"The world's still the same. There's just less in it."

At this point I care more about a good movie and less about accurate dinosaurs. We already know we won't get the later. I can deal with that, I guess. If the director really is a big fan of the original I take that as a hopeful sign.

I actually just watched "Guardians of the Galaxy" the other day where Chris Pratt played the lead role. I loved the movie and he did a great job in it. His character was quite similar to a Han Solo, Captain Kirk or Indiana Jones type of character. You know, the charismatic and rugged adventurer type. I'm sure his role in "Jurassic World" won't be too dissimilar from that mold. He played it well, I have no doubt he'll be a big name in Hollywood what with the success of "Guardians".

stargatedalek

I've been a fan of Parks & Rec for years, so I've seen him in some rather diverse roles

Patrx

I don't have much to contribute here except to say that Guardians of the Galaxy was absolutely brilliant.

One guy in JPlegacy forum, found this from artists portofolio who worked in Jurassic Park and Jurassic World.

For me doesnt look like a freaking mutant. Looks like Australovenator with Masiakasaurus like.

>:D

It looks like it  has V.rex snaggle teeth. Or is that supposed to be the snake genes coming into effect?

I think an unused model for the movie production.

amargasaurus cazaui

Looks very much like a cross between a raptor, hence the fingers,  an allosaurus hence the wide open mouth, and a tyrannosaurus. The streaks of color could be the cuttlefish effect.
Authors with varying competence have suggested dinosaurs disappeared because of meteorites...God's will, raids by little green hunters in flying saucers, lack of standing room in Noah's Ark, and palaeoweltschmerz—Glenn Jepsen

TBH I like it, and man if this gets used Papo is going to have a field day :P
