That is BEAUTIFUL! Would have loved one of those when I was a kid. I was a huge fan of Battle Beasts growing up. That is just amazing.

Another anthropomorphic custom figure. This one is Stegron the Dinosaur Man, who is a minor villain of Spiderman. His origin in the comics is that a scientist named Vincent Stegron was inspired by Dr. Curt Connors' experiment of injecting himself with lizard DNA and turning into the villain the Lizard, so he tried the same thing by injecting himself with dinosaur DNA from a dinosaur he found in the Savage Land (kind of a Lost World area with prehistoric animals...long story). He turned into a stegosaurus looking manimal.

Anyway, the opportunity to make him came across when toys from the last Spiderman movie came out and there was a great figure of the Lizard, shown here:

With the skin texture already done from the factory figure, all I had to do was add some spine plates from a couple of cheap stegosaurus figures, replace the head with an old T-rex and resculpt over it, do some additional sculpting on the body, and some paint, and I end up with a dinosaur based custom to show off.

Great looking custom, looks very professional. I think I recognise the plates from the Safari Ltd Stegosaurus? ;D

GrownNerd

Indeed. I get emailed coupons for 40% single items at AC Moore (an arts and crafts store) so that Safari Stegosaurus only costed me around $3. Sigh, if only that store carried Papo dinosaurs.

Cool ! I knew I remembered a dino-guy from Spiderman..everyone told me I was thinking of The Lizard.. lol

Brachiosaurus

You are amazing, if you made a tiktaalik figure like the ones you posted i would pay money for it.

Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.
