I was wondering why all the duplicates of the JP stuff.

I was wondering why all the duplicates of the JP stuff.

Got them in lots or for cheap and never bothered to sell them. Still don't, since I don't need the money and they're only going to be worth more by the time I might. I could use the space though, that's true...

Today, some Kaiyodo Dinotales Series 3:

CityRaptor

Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Depends on. A lot JP stuff is only really worth something when it is still MIB/MOC. At least here in Europe. Different market from the US.

Sure. But if I wait long enough, even a loose common Raptor might be worth twice as much as I paid for it in fifty years time. Like I said, I don't need the money right now, nor does it seem likely I will in the next few years.

And here's some electronic dinosaurs from China. The Godzilla like creature walks and smokes.

And more of those lovely Kaiyodosaurs. Series 4/5. Both series I have since completed, aside from some colour variants.

The Protoceratops belongs to my favourite dinosaur figures of all time! So charming!

CityRaptor

I see you got a german variant of the Pteranodon. Dino-Hauer is of course rather wrong. Aside from not being a Dinosaur, a Hauer would be a tusk of a wild boar, although Deinotherium is also known as Hauerelefant in Germany and it is also sometimes used for fangs.

Thanks for the info. ;) The English version (which I also have by now, as well as the Japanese) calls it a 'dino-strike jaw', which is equally incorrect.

I only miss the Dimorphodon, the Pteranodon set and the six Hybrid B&Bs.

Anyhow, here's a shot of what my attic looks like these days:

What is that giant green sauropod? I've seen other variations of it, and I covet it, but I have no idea who made it!

It's a giant UKRD figure, I believe.

Today, a nice gang of Raptors:

CityRaptor

Clever Girls!
A better use of Dino-Hauer.

Jaw is at least closer than teeth.

That's what many levels look like when you play the old Jurassic Park PC Game by Ocean.

Smaller retro walkasaurs. The Archaeopteryx is a nice species choice for this sort of thing.

Lanthanotus

Nice ones... that Archaeopteryx got some lizard tied to its feet?! I guess it rather hops than walks?

Yeah, walking is saying too much here. The lizard is a fun little detail, isn't it?

Missed out the last few days, so much for living up to this title's thread. :)

Today, some Kaiyodo Dinotales Series 7 and some rare variants and expo figures:

One of JP's more inspired species choices, Coelophysis. I added a bunch to the existing set to make it look more like the collector's card.  :)
