Roadside Dinosaurs

There is a grand folk art tradition of life-size (or at least pretty big) dinosaur statues being placed near highways, as advertisements, tourist draws,  playgrounds, or just for the pure joy of it. If you've taken photos of some of these beasts, post them here!

Here are three at a city park in the small town of Mountainburg, Arkansas.













All are made of concrete, with glass eyes. The Triceratops and Brontosaurus contain plastic tubes, accessible by ladders, so kids can climb through them. The Tyrannosaurus is to dignified for such nonsense and is strictly for admiring. A plaque states that the Brontosaurus and Tyrannosaurus were made by Douglas W. Birchfield in 1980; I assume the Triceratops was also made by him at some other time.

That is a very, uh, interesting Triceratops there. I don't think I've ever seen one that looked so long before.
