Hey there fellow dinosaur lovers! I'm actually not new to this forum, but I haven't been active for nearly a year, so I think it's time to get going again! I've always thought prehistoric life was cool, but I really started to devour any information I could about dinosaurs a few years back, after I got hooked on BBC's Walking With Dinosaurs (all bow to our sacred documentary series). After that I began to collect Safari Ltd. models as well as a few others, such as Papo and Battat. So I've become what you might call an amateur paleontologist with zero field experience. Also I'm a science, geography, and history geek. (You'd probably guess by now, given my nerdy self-description, that I'm a sci-fi fan as well. You'd be absolutely correct.) I'll tell more about myself in later posts because I can write rather lengthy essays on extremely off topic subjects, which is exactly what I'm doing right now. So, yeah. That's me.

Amen! ;)

"3,000 km to the south, the massive comet crashes into Earth. The light from the impact fades in silence. Then the shock waves arrive. Next comes the blast front. Finally a rain of molten rock starts to fall out of the darkening sky - this is the end of the age of the dinosaurs. The Comet struck the Gulf of Mexico with the force of 10 billion Hiroshima bombs. And with the catastrophic climate changes that followed 65% of all life died out. It took millions of years for the earth to recover but when it did the giant dinosaurs were gone - never to return." - WWD
