Using finite element analysis (a technique for estimating the forces experienced by various parts of a body part, especially bones) and bone histology, this study finds evidence for a generalist hunting strategy: sometimes ambushing while sitting at the bottom of a water body, and sometimes actively chasing prey. Not necessarily hugely surprising, but I'm a sucker for images like these:
