Stegotyranno420: thanks for the compliment!

ITdactyl: Thanks for the kind words. My sauropods have the shoulder region adjusted in accordance with Vidal et. al. 2020, a paper that made a compelling case for the scapula (and thus whole pectoral girdle) to be placed lower relative to the spine than was previously thought. The effect of this is to give sauropods a deeper chest, higher shoulder and neck that is more vertically inclined. It doesn't make much difference to the appearance of something like a brachiosaur, but it makes a pretty major difference to the silhouette of sauropods with short forelimbs like the diplodocoids. Scott Hartman has a longer article about this on his Skeletal Drawing site.

Beautiful work again. The calmness and kind of minimalism in this big Scene is great. Dotwork is just so great to look at ( I think i wrote almost the same a few months ago :D)

Ictonyx

Thank you Kapitaenosavrvs!

Albertonectes vanderveldei

Shonisaurus

I really like that illustration, especially in the hunting position of the albertonectes, at the same time that it is realistic and one hundred percent scientific, it moves away from most of the illustrations of plesiosauroids in which said prehistoric animals hunt horizontally.

Ictonyx

Thank you Shonisaurus!

A representation of four grades of cetacean evolution:
Pakicetus, Ambulocetus, Aegicetus, & Dorudon

Shonisaurus

What beautiful pictures, the daspletosaurus and brachylophosaurus are great and the evolution of the whale (evolutionary chart) comes out in genius.

Man thats crazy, what a whale of a tale (I crack my self up).
"Boy do I hate being right all the time."

Ictonyx

Diplocaulus magnicornis.

Ictonyx

A comparison of three giant sauropods from different lineages. From left to right: Xinjiangtitan shanshanensis, Giraffatitan brancai and Supersaurus vivianae.

Shonisaurus

The diplocaulus is very well drawn, I like that great illustration, it is a very dynamic figure. On the other hand, the illustration of the giant sauropods next to the giraffe is an explanatory and at the same time very graphic educational illustration.

The small, fluffy heterodontosaurid Tianyulong confuciusi.

Shonisaurus

What a lovable dinosaur, I really like your drawing that Tianyulong confuciusi is the equivalent of the Pekingese dog.

Ictonyx

Thank you, yes he's a cute little guy!

Iguanodon bernissartensis
