Triassic brachiopods of Yemen reflect connection to India

Halichoeres

These fossils are similar to those found in the Himalayas, suggesting that during the Triassic, the Arabian plates and Indian plates were closer together (no surprise, of course, but cool confirmation). Most are known species, but two are new: Adygella socotrana and another they leave undescribed.
