Good to see the Mussaurus starting to pop up. I think I'll have to make a trip to Target this week.

Between here, the subreddit I go on, and certain instragram tags I check/follow, it's becoming clear to me that this next batch of Dino Rivals figures are spreading. I'll try to check this week, and hopefully I have some success.

I also came across this post on instagram which had some very interesting info about the distribution of these figures so far. Here it is:

https://www.instagram.com/p/BxF94nfFETs/

Apparently this batch of Attack Packs is the actual Wave 2 (might explain why so many are having success finding these in the states, at Walmart's at least, so far). The Coelurus and Herrerasaurus are mix in's for Wave 1 (which might explain why they have been hard to find for many, aside from probably being 1 per case, and why I ultimately needed to rely on amazon for them after no success after weeks of searching). If I had to guess it might have just been a matter of chance of what case retailers were receiving (alongside if their stock was selling enough for them to order new cases). I could be wrong though, but without more information it is hard to know exactly why those were so hard to find (for me at least). Apparently the Tapejara and Dimetrodon are also mix in's for Wave 1, but I luckily came across those in stores (though in both cases, I had already received mine from amazon). Yet again a case of poor distribution likely.

Edit: I also recall seeing that the batch of roarivore repaints came in a box marked June 1 (though not street date locked) on instagram probably a bit back. Could also be helpful information to have, though doesn't guarantee they will be sold before or after then (since it determines on how current stock sells and if stores are ordering these cases, or can order them). If I had to guess the app will probably get an update by then, if not July. We shall see in the coming months though. I'll see if I can find that post and if I do, I'll link it here. And here it was: https://www.instagram.com/p/BwqXYgZFzuO/

Another edit: Well the app actually updated today funnily enough. I made a post about it in the 2019 JW thread (along with an album of images of the new figures in the app).

Flaffy

Distribution has been bad for the entire line. No news here.
And for some strange reason, some regions have been receiving all the Wave 1 APs except for Rhamphorynchus.

I have one of those. It doesn't have any labels or anything and came with a dollar store bag of generic reptiles. If I had to assign an ID it would be a hellbender.

I got mine in a random reptile pack too. Without the lateral crenulations it looks more like a Japanese giant salamander to me.

  :o Now I want one!

AcroSauroTaurus

I got the Jurassic Park Chaos Effect Velocirapteryx and The Lost World Pachycephalosaurus recently from a friend who had gotten extras.

Well I finally had some luck finding new Mattel Jurassic stuff in stores after however long it has been now. Went to a different Walmart, about an hour away (just got done with my best friend's wedding reception, and figured may as well stop by and take a look there), and had a score. I think I'll check them out again in a few weeks time since the local Walmarts that I visited earlier this week were behind, and practically devoid of stock, with one even having reduced shelf space for Jurassic (though I did pick up a Godzilla set, and yet another figure of Toothless, from those stores, which I'll edit in the other thread for it tomorrow).

Edit: Added some details.

Anyways I managed to get all four of the remaining blind bag species I was missing today ("Wave 2" minis this late in the game too? wow. I also used codes from a video to get the right ones, although the Pteranodon was obvious enough), and they also had all of the new roarivores and multiples of them (except only one of the Baryonyx). I got the Baryonyx and the Ankylosaurus, since those appeal to me the most (not that I needed them, but I liked them enough to want to get). I also spotted the green Herrerasaurus for the first time "in the wild", though I already had that one arrive from Amazon a little bit ago (and don't think I actually posted about it come to think about it, so adding it below).

Another edit: Just remembered I am missing the Mosasaurus still. Oops. So just need to pick up the Battle Damage mini pack at some point for that one.

avatar_AcroSauroTaurus @AcroSauroTaurus Congrats on getting those Kenner Jurassic figures.

So, me and a friend went into a thrift store, as we go to them occasionally, just to look for figures. I've never found anything though, until Saturday when I found a Battat Edmontonia in a bag of cheap China toys for $4...

Congrats for your new acquisitions, Faelrin! The new Ankylosaurus look a lot better than the original one, exactly as the Baryonyx look a lot worse than it's predecessor.

Congrats for finding that Edmontonia, AcroSauroTaurus! You've been really lucky!

Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

Great additions and great pic. I just wish some of this stuff would hurry up and surface over here!

The money I have put aside for some of the new releases from our usual suspects in term of established brands will end up going towards newcomer PNSO, again.
