I would also urge a reediction of the albertosaurus and the gorgosaurus both figures of Safari tyrannosaurs discontinued.

On the other hand I think Doug or another sculptor will do a styracosaurus to compete with the Collecta and on a somewhat large scale like this year's triceratops.

Of saurĂ³podos I believe that we are not going to have news in size 1:35 they are too expensive for any company, reason why I believe that saurĂ³podos like ten or twenty years ago with considerable sizes I believe that they are not going away to realize again unfortunately.

I also hope they do a sinoceratops and stygimoloch as obscure figures considering the success that the JW movie has had.

A pteranodon would need to be made by Safari many years ago that an adequate pteranodon is not manufactured and that of carnegie or the pteranodon of the great dino series are discontinued.

very happy Safari is still continuing with the prehistoric mammals! hope we get something else really out there like thylacosmilus or sivatherium. Also Im not surprised to see a new carnotaurus from them. Im expecting lots of new carnotaurs and stygimolochs from the dino figure companies this year, thanks to a certain little film. O:-)

Bokisaurus

So it begins ^-^ Wonderful new figures, can't wait to see more!

More updated tyrannosaurs would be cool and maybe a life cycle of a T.rex, but I would put more emphasis on a new allosaurus and a better stegosaurus.
Their allosaurus has been at best a meh, and while their old carnegie ones were just bad (but have nice results for repaints), the new one is a good step up. In a nutshell more obscure animals and updates would be cool.

It's been a good run here

PhilSauria

As long as we're speculating, I'd like to see an updated Spinosaurus from Safari in about the same size range as the feathered rex and preferably by Mr. Watson (not a fan of the work of the guy who's been doing the sauropods). Which is I guess a distinct possibility given that there does seem to be a gradual replacement of the Carnegies. I still feel that the Carnegie Spinosaur is one of the best out there and certainly a favorite of mine but I'd also still like to see Doug's take on this animal!

Is there a separate thread somewhere for Safari Ltd speculation/hopes?

Oh yes, there's actually one, I guess we got carried away with the excitement and started discussing here  :-[

OK Safari has Become collectA

Who could of predicted that they would make Two Crested Oviraptorsaurs in a row?. that is something that CollectA would Do, But Safari is clearly takeing a new direction

Gwangi

Oh wow, what a lineup so far. Seriously, I might just make my life easier and only collect Safari. Jaw on the floor. And that paint job is certainly the best one I've seen on a ceratopsian from Safari.

Takama

For those few who cant see the video

Citipati

and
Styracosaurus

Toasaurus

Congrats man i was hoping the ceratopsian was centrosaurus but i like the styracosaurus and im suprised that were getting a citapati

I'm so glad we got Styracosaurus now. I absolutely love this one too, in both the color scheme and the sculpt. Yet another one from my want list made now. And that Citipati is absolutely gorgeous too. I think I prefer it over the Anzu, though both are really nicely done figures. Of course this one 'replaces' the Carnegie Citipati (Edit: I got this mixed up with their Caudipteryx. Oops). If I had to guess, Doug sculpted that Styracosaurus, maybe some of the others we've seen so far. I really hope so. I hope this one is similar to size to the other ceratopsian figures such as Regaliceratops, etc. Yet some more additions to my wishlist for sure.

Edit: I finally watched the video now. I see that the Styracoasaurus is a little larger then the Pachyrhinosaurus, but still smaller then the Triceratops. I wonder what scale it is in. All I know is that Styracosaurus should be smaller then Triceratops, so this looks about right to me, but I don't know for sure.

Not something I've mentioned before, but I hope the Woolly Rhinoceros is in the same scale as the Woolly Mammoth figure. But I won't complain if it isn't. It's definitely on my want list just because it might be the very best one made to date.

those are really awesome! the styraco has the best paint job Ive seen on a Safari dino in a looong time! and I love the citipati's earthier colors!

Jose S.M.

If you know me you'll know how happy I am for another ceratopsian. I just have a question about it and it is about the frill spikes, I didn't know they were curved like that, the favorite one has them more straight. I haven't seen the Collecta in person, how are they positioned in it? I think the Battat one has them a bit curved like that doesn't it? But wow that coloration is lovely and more intricate than most Safari ceratopsians, they are usually two tones. This has oranges and greens in different tones and the white underbelly and dark back stripes.
Citipati looks just as lovely as Anzu, but less bright in colors, still very nice. I hope is stable, since doesn't have any aid of the wings to stand like Anzu.

PhilSauria

Wow! - 2 more already! Congrats to Safari for the way they are doing the reveals this year, really involving the target buyers for these figures. (Really hope that DinoToyForum gets a package from them - marine reptiles?), but that Styracosaurus really is top notch. There is no doubt in my mind that Doug Watson is your go-to guy for Ceratopsians; another one knocked out of the park! (okay, enough with the catch phrases, and exclamation marks!). If the reveals continue at this rate we'll have the whole 2019 lineup by about the end of next week. Not complaining, just anticipating...

SpartanSquat

Congrats Kayakasaurus! Styracosaurus looks epic, I was waiting one these years. I see the feathers in Citipati are better sculpted and a better paint job. Interesting how is Safari is reaveling the new figures this year. I prefferd this way than the last year!

Lizerd

As kayakasaurus said in the video, that styracosaurus has a very good paint job. It only means we have more to look forward to   ;D
