The Ted brothers' review vid for Albertosaurus appeared on my Youtube recommended feed... I have to agree, it is an awesome, highly playable figure that improved on the articulation and "battle damage" features of previous JP toys.

I hope this isn't a case of "best for last" and it's not the line's swan song.  I'm still waiting for their Quetzalcoatlus (wondering if they'd keep the original "fire beak" design, or if the toy will look like the Quetz in their mobile game.

I'm excited for REBOR's Acro!  Can't ya tell?

I was checking Brickseek out of curiousity to see if any stores near me are carrying the BD Albertosaurus soon, and other things, and I saw that the previously unknown BD figures that have been listed for a while now, have finally had their names changed. It looks like we are getting another Monolophosaurus (possibly a repack if not another repaint), another Herrerasaurus, and a Proceratosaurus.

Edit: Also here's some links to the Legacy Collection Story Pack sets:

https://www.target.com/p/jurassic-world-legacy-collection-story-pack-dr-alan-grant-velociraptor/-/A-53767125

https://www.target.com/p/jurassic-world-legacy-collection-story-pack-robert-muldoon-velociraptor/-/A-53767124

I'm not interested in either of these sets really, but nice to see the prices for them.

Another Edit: Interesting to see them call that Velociraptor with Muldoon the "clever girl". Too bad they used the crawling sculpt, and it doesn't even have the right color scheme for it. At least the white raptor with Grant is close to the JPIII female. Of course we haven't seen the final in packaged toys yet, so maybe they could be better (like what happened with the color on the green EC rex).

May as well make another edit instead of a new post:

Went to one of my Target's today and they did have some of the new stuff. I had to hold off for now, but it's just a matter of time (when the next paycheck comes about two weeks from now) to get some of these. Also not seen, but on the top most Savage Strike shelf was a single Monolophosaurus and Styracosaurus. It was pretty cool to see these in person. The Styracosaurus seems really small, but still cool though, and I'm glad there is one made (there's a video also on Collect Jurassic's youtube showing how it sizes to some of the others). Hopefully I encounter the Parasaurolophus, Concavenator, and/or the BD Albertosaurus by then too. Edit: And if I'm lucky, I'll finally find a Battle Damage Pteranodon (JW colors) too.

Hopefully the last edit: Here's also some first in package looks at the Savage Strike Dimetrodon and Tapejara (I don't know if these are the original source of the images, but in any case here you all go):

https://www.instagram.com/p/BsWV1ooF8ja/ (Dimetrodon)

https://www.instagram.com/p/BsWea6GlSka/ (Tapejara)

I wonder if this means in package pics of the Attack Pack Coelurus and any others are soon to follow. At the very least I'm hoping we see them at Toy Fair (and have an idea of when to expect them to release).

Just saw images of the Mattel Plesiosaurus and Tapejara and really like the look of these, especially the Pterosaur.

I think it's a safe bet these neither of these will be appearing on shelves over here in Australia, I've not seen any of the multitude of figures beyond the initial release, so if any DTF member is able to help me get my hands on these I'd really appreciate the assist!

Was that the Lititz Target? I was looking for a legacy gallimimus at the new Lancaster Target today with no luck.

avatar_Pachyrhinosaurus @Pachyrhinosaurus It was the Highpoint one. The other one I went too (near Colonial Park) was all out of Legacy stuff too. The only Target I haven't checked once in all this time is the Mechanicsburg one (although I haven't been to the new Lancaster/Belmont shoppes one in a while). Hope this helps. I'll be searching out Walmart's near me next week (ideally I'd like to check out the Palmyra one).

Ah, I had been there earlier in the fall-- can't say they had much then. The Lanacster Target didn't have much legacy at all though they did have a few of the buck T. rex and baby sets. I think I'm only after Malcolm and the gallimimus for now. The newer releases just don't interest me as much as the first ones did.

I picked up a spare Legacy Gallimimus today if your interested. Target did have a Malcolm too if you want me to check there tomorrow?

Just found the new Dino Rivals Dual Attack figures on the shelf at Fred Meyer!

These are coming quickly in the Pacific Northwest. I saw they had the Dino Rivals Colossal Tyrannosaurus out last visit (when they never stocked the original Colossal before), so had an inkling new stuff was incoming.

Decided on just the Parasaurolophus for today, and am really pleased! Articulation is good, and those over-sized feet do ensure that the figure can stand in a nice, stable bipedal pose if you wish.

The sculpt is so on point. I am so excited for this. The wait to get it is going to drive me nuts, but thankfully I have some collecting to keep me occupied until her arrival. If I had to guess she is definitely going to be shown at Toy Fair (and the Brachio too I hope, along with any other creatures we know about but have not seen yet, such as the Amargasaurus).

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin perfect! So much hype for this sculpt! I hope it'll be to scale with the rest of the line. And it should be pretty movie accurate since it doesn't have that much color variation, and Mattel has been pretty skimpy on color.

Loon

Those teeth look great, and I'm loving the arm articulation! Hopefully, and I wouldn't be too disappointed if this was the case, she also has some more leg articulation than the usual points.

Is the Indominus Rex a limited release (geographic specific) like the Spinosaurus? Also, any word on new variants of Spinosaurus?

Loon

avatar_tanystropheus @tanystropheus , I think the Indominus is probably more popular than the spinosaurus, so maybe not
Who knows, it might even be part of the regular line, like many think the spitting Dilophosaurus and Jp3 raptor will.

Also, no news on the spinosaurus. But, if Mattel was smart, they'd release a battle damage version, like the Rex that came in the monolophosaurus pack.

Flaffy

So does Mattel plan to distribute these internationally? Pretty much only the US has seen decent distribution since Wave 2.

HOLY S%*@! This will give the collectors nightmares! :o :o :o
Wow, just like the T.rex, the head of this Indominus is identical to the design in the movie, and it has elbow articulation too. I got shivers down my spine because of this.

PD: I managed to extract the image via an online trick: ;)
