I feel strongly about consistent scale throughout my collection.  It is hence frustrating to me that this company uses two scales, albeit consistently.

"Sculpted figurines from anatomically accurate reconstructions made on the computer and based on scientifically described individuals.

1:35 – 1:40 scale PVC figures are ideal to decorate your desktop and accompany on your long hours of work or study."

Why does that make sense if the scales are relatively close?  If you had two ranges, one at 1:20 and one at 1:35, i could understand the commercial value in that.

Moving on to "Acceptance" in my grieving process, I trust the two scales from Eofauna are close enough to be displayed together?

I would like prehistoric mammals to be at 1:20 scale and dinosaurs at 1:35 independent scale that there are prehistoric mammals and dinosaurs that because of their small size would need to be made to a larger size regardless of scale. On the other hand I understand that prehistoric mammals are on a different scale than dinosaurs. In my case I prefer that the prehistoric animals of Eofauna were not made to scale. I am not a "follower" of dinosaurs with a scientific scale.

While I agree that it doesn't make sense at face value, it is worth considering that these are mass-produced figures we're talking about. A single 1:40 scale figure won't cost much less to produce than one in 1:35 scale, but 1000* figures in 1:40 scale will save you thousands to manufacture compared to 1000* in 1:35 scale. As they are usually very large figures, the difference in manufacturing costs will be particularly huge with sauropod figures, hence why they chose to make them 1:40 scale rather than 1:35 scale.

*this is not meant to be an estimate of the amount of figures EoFauna makes in any given time, but simply to give an idea of how even small differences in scale can save quite a lot when mass-producing figures.

I also feel disappointed that the Atlasaurus is 1:40 scale, It was the first thing I suggested in their questionnaire: to stay at 1:35 scale for all their models.
Favorite Brands:              Favorite Dinosaurs:
1 - PNSO                        1 - Carnotaurus
2 - Vitae                         2 - Spinosaurus/Suchomimus
3 - Eofauna                     3 - Therizinosaurus
4 - Carnegie Line             4 - Deinocheirus
5 - CollectA                     5 - Gigantoraptor

Gothmog the Baryonyx

I think 1:35 and 1:40 are close enough, the latter could represent sub-adults or the former especially large individuals.

That Atlasaurus will go nicely with the Mo Models 1:40 Scale Giganotosaurus.

I'm kinda glad considering my collection is a mess with 40s,35s,30s ans 20s.

Yep, the two scales are pretty often mixed with eachother.

My thoughts exactly.  Plenty close enough to not cause serious concern, imho.

Sincerely I will buy the figure of Eofauna atlasaurus from urzeitshop.de or everythingdinosaur and I will have no problems but I recognize that the customs service tax rates are abusive in general terms and what causes me the most anxiety is how they retain the figures of prehistoric animals in My case, or that one committed a criminal activity is sometimes frustrating and outrageous.
I've bought my giganotosaurs from there, very nice shop: https://www.alcaiceria.com/alcaiceria/compras/catalogo.php Same price as in German online shops but cheaper shipping costs (free over 70€).

I recommend waiting until it appears are other retailers. Not only is Monster House unethical in the outrageous prices they charge, they steal photos from peoples collections, and speaking frankly they get a suspicious amount of items a few weeks before normal release. I genuinely suspect they would sell items stolen from factories.

The monsterhouse Eofauna atlasaurus are selling them at a very high price 49 euros. It is almost worth so much that the sinoceratops of Nanmu Studio on Aliexpress (which is a bit more expensive). Compared to other stores such as urzeitshop, Eofauna atlasaurus is priced at two or three Safari dinosaurs.

Just look what happened to Simon after he pre ordered that Vitae Giga from them a few years back. Never heard from him again I think they sending out hits on the DTF members.

But in all seriousness I second this. Never purchase from MHHK unless you want to pay a hefty price

Both Dejankins and Dan's Dinosaurs have the Atlasaurus for $40.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Shonisaurus

I do not know I do not trust but the triceratops of Favorite limited edition black monsterhouse would not be a fake? For the benefit of the doubt I hope it is not, but who knows?

Duna

My Atlasaurus cost me 26€ on a Spanish online shop and it has been sent yesterday along 3 more figures I wanted. I will receive them the day after tomorrow. I won't ever buy from MHHK.

No absolute guarantee, but you should be okay, if you got it in the original Favorite Co. packaging, as I did, last year.
