Honestly I would have preferred a pentaceratops with a more realistic pose but in my case I respect the artistic freedom of Papo and his philosophy but better would have been a more static pentaceratops on all fours. Anyway, I'm sure he'll be a great figure.

It can be kept two or four legs! It reminds me of the posture of Papo's pentaceratops to his Schleich counterpart and above all it is much more detailed and better finished and it is huge! almost as big as his Papo triceratops counterpart.

I am very happy with this figure, worthy for any adult collector although this company is aimed at a younger audience, but we must point out that I know paleontologists in my nation who collect these figures especially Papo and have them as an ornament on the desk of their dispatch (and it's not an exaggeration).

I think this is easily their best ceratopsian to date, especially after seeing it on all fours like that.

That's huge, much bigger than I thought. It looks great and honestly better than the Gorgosaurus.

Thanks for the new photos. Yes, it is bigger than I thought it would be.

Question: When will the Pentaceratops and Gorgosaurus be released?

You can See photos on Pentaceratops on all fours here, and it looks pretty good! A lot like Schleich Penta.

I'd say more than that. It's as though Papo brass handed their sculptor the Schleich version and said, "Make one just like this, only cooler-looking!"

It's a very dynamic sculpt and I might be tempted to pick it up, 'cause it's not like Pentaceratops toys are legion, but still.

Awesome! So it does do a charging pose. I might want to pick up a pair of Pentaceratops ;D

And people scoffed when I said those upturned hind-toes could only mean one thing. ;D

ah finally the only other figure aside from the spino that papo outdid this year  ^-^

I was beginning to wonder when but hopefully now it comes soon.

terrorchicken

love it! is it just me or does Papo like giving their ceratopsids really long necks(at least longer than usual for ceratopsids?)

Well those images certainly have me adding it to my list to buy for this year (quite a list it is too!), looks great on all fours (threes?) and I like that it is a bit larger, close to their Triceratops in size. The more naturalistic colour scheme as seen on their Acrocanthosaurus mk2 and the new Spino is also a selling point for me.

Before PNSO (and the odd weird pose aside) Papo used to be the go-to for more naturalistic Prehistoric animals, good to see that is still the case with this figure.

havent heard anything yet but expect it at the end of this quarter/month or most likely Q3 which starts in July.

Atokensis

The Pentaceratops looks beautiful on all fours, will definitely get it when it arrives along with Gorgosaurus!

SYNDICATE BIAS:

Thanks for the info. I'll be watching for them.

In my case, I will wait for the store of the Museum of Natural Sciences in my store of all life, since I owe a lot to those merchants. I'll wait when the pentaceratops arrives in my store, whatever it takes. In fact I still have not received the first part of the Collecta dinosaurs but I do not sell myself in relation to the brands of Schleich, Collecta and Papo to any store. Except the Papo spinosaurus limited version that I'll buy from urzeitshop (Miron) and everythingdinosaur (one figure in each store). I buy the rest of the figures in my Museum Store. So I will enjoy more when they arrive.

On the other hand with regard to the last picture of Papo's pentaceratops with the miniature plastic ball gives a tender image to the figure looks like a little boy with his rag ball.

Killekor

I'm happy to know that the Pentaceratops can stand in a quadrupedal pose. It really gives to it an high jump of quality!

Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

If you have a pair of Pentaceratops, you can also have them mate/mount! This is the most epic thing Papo has ever done! :o

Think of the possibilities:

1. Charging Pentaceratops
2. Excited Pentaceratops
3. (sexually) Excited Pentaceratops
