I'll get that Penta and the Spino for sure!

Shonisaurus

This news benefits me because in September I go on summer vacation and had ordered urzeitshop and everythingdinosaur respectively a spinosaurus from Papo and I was not going to be at home, although Miron and Mike reserved me the spinosaurus anyway if I was not going be physically at the time of reserving said figure.

I suppose that they delay the production of Papo's spinosaurus limited edition so that the figure is of the highest possible quality and at least equal or superior to the figures of exhibition and the prototype shown in the photos. I prefer that the figure be delayed and in perfect condition to be disappointed with these figures as it happened to me with the brown tyrannosaurus running from Papo and the allosaurus repainted by Papo this year.

Thanks for the information Syndicate Bias, in my case you have given me a joy with the delay of the commercialization of the spinosaurus of Papo.  :)

Papo Spino now due for October

This a bit worrying, imho, as in case of ''no deal" Brexit in October, the EU might get a much more expensive Spino than expected....  :-\

Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

But Papo is French.

Really sorry! I was not clear :)
I have made my pre-order to ED, that's all. Pity me...

Killekor

Thanks for showing us the link, Syndicate Bias! It's sad to hear that the Papo Spinosaurus release date has been delayed again.
Let's hope that it doesn't become as with the BotM Raptors!
In any case, I'll wait to see it released and I'll order the one I've reserved from ED.

Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

The new Spinosaurus is huge at about 15-7/8 inches long. Papo's earlier Spinosaurus is about 12-1/4 inches long.

Ceratopsianking

That Spino is going to be huge! That's about the length of their Brachiosaurus and Apatosaurus

October is fine with me, or later such as November, since I still want to have money for David Silva's next BotM kickstarter starting in September (which means paying for it when it ends, likely early October). Too early to worry about it right now for me in either case though. And there's Mattel's Brachiosaurus coming up soon too (hopefully sooner then October).

Also, regarding release dates for other papo figures, ED mentioned:

QuoteThe new colour variant Papo Stegosaurus model is expected to arrive at the Everything Dinosaur warehouse very shortly, with the Pentaceratops and the Gorgosaurus models to follow later.

Absolutely can't wait for that Gorgo and amazing Penta.

Faelrin

avatar_terrorchicken @terrorchicken The Everything Dinosaur link had the measurements for the Spinosaurus. Here you go: https://blog.everythingdinosaur.co.uk/blog/_archives/2019/06/18/limited-edition-papo-spinosaurus-further-update.html

many thanks, everyone!
will this be Papo's largest dinosaur figure or does the apatosaurus still dwarf it?

dragon53

For overall size among current Papo dinosaurs, I think the Brachiosaurus is the biggest---but the new Spinosaurus might replace it. When it is released, a side by side comparison would be interesting.

New Stegosaurus arrived in stock on ED. Only a matter of time now before Gorgosaurus and Pentaceratops!

Shonisaurus

The repainting of Papo's stegosaurus is an abyssal improvement compared to its predecessor. I hope it does not disappoint when I buy that repainted stegosaurus from Papo as I was disappointed by the allosaurus and tyrannosaurus rex brown of the same brand.

I hope that at least the repainted stegosaurus is of a quality equal to that shown in the photographs. On the other hand I am glad that the spinosaurus limited version (if this is how members of DTF comment) is of a size equal to the brachiosaurus of Papo, it will be a figure that will compete in beauty and perfection to the spinosaurus of Collecta, Schleich and PNSO and also to a lesser extent being sincere to the spinosaurus of Safari.
