Both Opishtocoelicaudia and Nemegtosaurus are known from the Nemegt formation in Mongolia, the former from exclusively postcranial material, and the latter only from a skull. People have therefore speculated that they are the same animal. This paper describes new postcranial material that is distinct from Opisthocoelicaudia, so the authors suggest it may represent the actual postcranial anatomy of Nemegtosaurus. In any event, at least two sauropods seem to be present in the Nemegt.
