I hope getting new members here will be easier than with the old place.

I tried to install the recent posts mod but it didn't work, I think it is incompatible with the version of the forum we are using. So we'll just have to be patient while we wait for a new version of the mod to be written. In the meantime, I suppose we just have to get used to the recent posts page as is.

Tylosaurus

Yer I see, understandable, I kinda like the new place, it is quicker as posting and loading pages go so that is an advantage over the old place :)
Why was the move actually made was it due to that or do you guys have your own domain now?

SBell

Is there a way to lock Malcolm's FaunaCasts thread to keep it free of posts?  There have already been a couple, in spite of his requests, and I seem to recall that on the old forum he was able to lock it, but (as a Mod) continue to post in it.

On my poll thread, I added an option for users to change their vote, but I can't see any way to cancel or change my votes. Can you look into it?

In your poll, the box to allow users to change their votes isn't actually checked. Shall I check it for you?

Seijun

Yes, please do. I thought I had checked it myself when I made the poll.

How about a chatroom so we can have live chat sessions with each other? or a Team Speak server?
A new smiley pack would be nice also reintroducing the Orthocone sadface this little bugga :)

Just willing to add more idea's hehe

I kinda liked the old forum's smileys better...just sayin'  :)

DinoToyForum

I can change the smileys, the possibilities are endless...I'm looking for a set I like  ;D :o

Himmapaan

Just as long as you make sure the crying one remains.  ;D I'm probably alone in not preferring the Orthocone over a proper tear-shedding smiley. I have many occasions for it. :P ;D

DinoToyForum

With the new forum, the possibilities are endless. Due to popular demand, I welcome onto V.2, everyone's favorite, that's right, it's orthocone! *orthocone*

Would it be OK to use the personal text in the forum profile to say "v1 Full Member"?  Seems a shame to lose such glorious status.

Actually, thanks for reminding me. I've just added a new ffield in the profile area called "v.1 status and posts". You can add your status and number of v1 posts there :)

Wow...the Karma thing was pulled off of there like 4 years ago! How would you even begin to remember that!?
