avatar_Loon @Loon how long have you been waiting for an official Dennis Nedry figure? I imagine for quite some time. ;)

Too long. While this one isn't perfect (let's face it, no mere mortal could ever recreate something so magnificent), it'll definitely be the centerpiece of my yet-to-be-built Nedry shrine.

Seems like the legacy collection is back:

No words of where, when and how it will be released though.

I can only hope this Ellie will somehow become available to me without costing an arm and a leg :-\

Blade-of-the-Moon

The original Ellie release started peg warming so she was pretty well distributed here. Not sure about this set, I'm sure collectors will be into it, I think it's a missed opportunity for Tim/Lex figures.  Unless it comes with a Visitor Center playset lol

Here in Krautland she was elusive as all hell. All figures in this line are. In physical stores I could only find the Chris Pratt character when it came to humans and online Ellie was going for scalper prices.
I would prefer an Amber Collection Ellie anyways so I am already bracing myself to import that eventual figure from the US :-\

In all my time hunting my local Target stores back in 2018 I only saw Ellie on the shelves like a few times (on one hand) altogether, but since she typically goes for pretty cheap on ebay these days, it does lead me to believe enough of those got out there. Hammond is definitely a different story though. Despite that they were still (prior to this pandemic at least) available in the Universal park(s?) for about $40, they are going for far more now on ebay. I agree that this would have been good to see the kids get made, but all the same if they were to ever offer the Ford Explorer (or visitor's center set), it would be good to have them packed together with it.

Also can't believe I only realized this last night after looking at it, but the raptors have their foot claws painted, which would make the first time any repaint of those sculpts has painted foot claws.

The new T.rex has been spotted.

And it looking pretty good, glad to see the somewhat goofy eyes we saw on some images are not to be seen.

The possibilities of replacing my Thrash n´Throw are increasing...

The shades of brown used for the Primal Attack rexes were better imo.

You know, if Mattel ever repaints that T. rex in bright and original colours, I might be tempted to get it.

The sculpt detail looks really impressive from these in hand pictures. I'm not the biggest fan of the saturated color scheme (though that's probably because of the cartoon appearance it will likely have), in comparison to last year's Bite N Fight or this year EC repaint, but I never got around to getting the Thrash and Throw rex, so I might need to pick this up for a deluxe electronic rex, even if next year or whenever Dominion comes out, has yet another (at least they are trying to come up with new features for them).

avatar_Loon @Loon I'm sure Prime1 or Chronicle Collectibles will release a hyper-detailed 1/6th scale resin statue similar to the Owen/Blue and Dr. Grant/The Big One. I mean, Dennis Nedry and the frilled Dilophosaurus were arguably a closer duo than the aforementioned pairs ever were.

I would welcome a Amber Collection Ellie as well.  I'm afraid that choice will suffer the same fate as most female characters though. They see this as a "boys" line and don't think girls will sell.   I'm still waiting on more/better Claire figures, I still need her first appearance version for Indominus Rex scenes.

Now I'm really glad I didn't spend $30 for just John Hammond from Entertainment Earth.

Okay so this is weird. The Sound Strike Parasaurolophus is listed as an Allosaurus on Target for some reason.

Edit: Dug through some of the old Toy Fair pics from Jurassic Outpost, and yeah it really does look like the released rex figure has had the eyes shrunk. Like compare with the above posted pics to the below one. Some of the detail work on the face looks to have been revised since what was seen then as well.

What about those paid scalper prices? lol   This set could be a 100.00 too by the time we get it.

I'm betting this is based on the CC design which was probably updated then they had to alter the figure.  Still waiting til i see this one is stores it might be more like he animatronic in the first film though than the cg versions.

I kinda prefer the head sculpt on the older ones...but the action features on this one are the best. I want it but I am still unsure..

I can already imagine me getting this T.rex and then a year latter Mattel puts out the better and improved version for Jurassic World dominion, making me regretting my purchase...

Darko2300

Woah. I actually just cancelled my pre-order. I need to see this in person first. I'm definitely thinking the headsculpt is a step down on this guy. Which kinda sucks.  :(

suspsy

Is anyone else puzzled at how the Pachyrhinosaurus and the Quetzalcoatlus have not received repaints? Be kind of nice to sell the former under its correct name. And the latter rocks. More people need to own it.
