I spotted this Aladar cup on eBay recently. It's from Disney's Animal Kingdom, I'm guessing from around 2000. I don't think I mention this often, but I'm a big theme park fan, and Animal Kingdom, really Disney World as a whole, has been a dream vacation of mine for years.

I've also been very nostalgic for this movie lately. I actually watched it the other day; I enjoyed it more than any off the Jurassic Park sequels. The soundtrack is also second to none. Not even the Jurassic Park theme gets me as excited as "The Egg Travels".

Figured it'd be cool to take a picture of it along with my other paleontology themed drinkware.

I also got the Invicta Muttaburrasaurus. I'm sure I say this about every Invicta I get, but I love this figure. It's so alive; rarely does a figure give off such a personality. He reminds me of this curious kindergartner at my work, strange I know.

Shonisaurus

I congratulate you on your new acquisitions. The Adalar mug from the Walt Disney movie is an irresistible fad on the other hand that muttaburrasaurus I think is one of the few that has been made of this species in the world of dinosaur toys. The muttaburrasaurus is a very underrepresented and undervalued species of dinosaurs.

Faelrin

Those cups are awesome, particularly the Aladar one (funny enough I was just thinking of this film). The Invicta Muttaburrasaurus is very nice. Come to think of it though, and speaking of Disney's Dinosaur, I can't help but wonder if Kron and Bruton where based on that rather then your standard Iguanodon?

Thanks avatar_Shonisaurus @Shonisaurus.

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin, I remember hearing something like that before. Though, I'm pretty sure they were Iguanodon. I'm guessing it was just to make them look ugly.

Here's my recent haul from Minizoo. I saw they had the Rebor Titanoboa back in stock and wanted to get that figure again. Actually, half of the figures here are ones I sold and wanted again. The others are the new CollectA figures.

Still haven't ordered the Saltriovenator; waiting on the remaining Paleozoic figures to become available at MiniZoo.

The tiny legs and big feet on the theropods look really weird. Just out of curiosity avatar_Loon @Loon , does the Megalodon's mouth close all the way? Or is the first picture showing how much it can shut?
Most (if not all) Rebor figures are mid

Shonisaurus

avatar_Loon @Loon Thank you for sharing these beautiful photos. Collecta's mapusaurus is much larger than I imagined judging from the photograph, considering that it is a standard figure. Honestly a great figure that far exceeds her previous version of mapusaurus even the one that appears with a base.

The megalodon and saltriovenator look pretty good. The megalodon is superior in its workmanship to other toy counterparts, it honestly makes very good company with my vinyl PNSO megalodon on the other hand the Collecta saltriovenator is one of my most coveted figures, although little is really known about the anatomy of that ceratosaurid.

Well, it's finally over. I'm very happy to have the Invicta Lambeosaurus in my collection. This is a magnificent figure, it holds up surprisingly well in terms of accuracy and detail. Even if it's a bit skinny looking.

And here they all are. The lighting's a bit poor, but you can make them out.

I'm currently dusting my entire display, and should be done in a few days. I'll post pictures then.

Shonisaurus

avatar_Loon @Loon I congratulate you on your new addition to your collection. Without a doubt, that figure of Invicta is magnificent, I am glad that you already have it among your new figures.

ceratopsian

Congratulations!  The unpainted Invictas make a splendid group display.

Halichoeres

Wow, you put together the Invicta collection in a hurry. Some collectors take years to complete it. They really are a striking group. Part of me wishes that monochrome figures had remained the standard, as sometimes paint obscures the beauty of a sculpt rather than highlights it.

Wow. Impressive indeed. Looks beautiful. Since we had a few of them, when i was a kid (don't know where they went :( ) i know the feeling of these Figures in your hands. They are quite special Figures and will always be. Plesiosaur and the Lio will always be my favorite Figures of all time.

Faelrin

It is wonderful how well some of these have stood the test of time (such as the Lambeosaurus, Muttaburrasaurus, etc). And the sense of scale (for the most part) something missing from modern brands (for the most part), looks wonderful here and is extra special. Honestly it makes me want to hunt down some more of these myself. At least I have the adorably small mammoth for now.

Anyways congratulations for completion, and how soon too. And of course thanks for sharing. Btw I may have asked this before but where could one get some platform shelves like you have there? Such a great idea to display things like this.

Those Invictas all together make for an impressive display!

Thanks everyone, I'm really proud of how it looks. Kinda makes me think I should do something similar with the Battat figures. But, I don't have nearly as many of those figures.

I can't say I 100% agree. I do like some color on my figures, even if mass-produced paint jobs are often a little sloppy. But, I do like monochrome figures and wouldn't mind a new Invicta-style line.

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin, I use these small plastic bathroom trays from target. I stack them like this.

I also sometimes use these larger versions for bigger figures, or, at least, wider figures.

Thanks for the information. That's a really cool idea honestly. And pretty cheap too from the looks of it. I'll have to check out that video as well. D @Dinoguy2 makes some really informative videos, and I've watched many of them, but seem to have missed this one, so thanks for sharing that too.

Nice collection!

I go green with envy when I see that another collector has managed to get hold of the Battat Triceratops!, a figure that I have admired for ages and pretty much have become resigned to the fact that I'll never own one. Well done.

PhilSauria - I noticed there's a couple for sale on eBay right now. If that's your Grail the price isn't too bad.
