Does anyone have a comparaison between this PNSO triceratops and the Papo one in terms of size ? .......

I don't have a direct comparison pic, only this one. They're about the same size.

PNSO      •      The Dinosaur Studio      •      Safari Ltd.      •      Papo

Thanks a lot !

They indeed seem to be about the same size, the PNSO being maybe just tiny bit smaller.
Would you say the PNSO is a bit bigger than the 1/35 scale it is supposed to have for a regular Triceratops?
I'm looking for a big one to showcase it as an Eotriceratops.

I really prefer that repaint, but it is also very pricey...

Edit:

Oh wait it cost only 40 dollars on that Chinese site, but more than hundeds on Lana Store ?

Unfortunately their site does not seemt o be usable for oversea users.
You can't even use letters to save your informations...

If any one knows how to order on that chinese site, I'm all ears, but it does not seem possible to me.

The repainted version of PNSO triceratops (limited version) is available, I pass links for those who are interested:

As you can see the prices vary, but it does not seem that this repainted triceratops is limited to several hundred figures,

Also the la-na-time-shop sells it.

I definitely like this better than the original.

So do I!  It's a very good looking scheme.

Most likely resells from the official Taobao listings, rather than acquiring stock directly from PNSO. (hence the large markup in price)

Well done avatar_Shonisaurus @Shonisaurus. By the time I decided I would buy one this morning, both had sold. avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy, I am sure you are right. I have never been confident enough to attempt Taobao.

avatar_ceratopsian @ceratopsian Some figures that are not exclusive can wait a long time, but the limited versions just in case you have to buy them when before, better not to wait. That is my philosophy. I recommend that you activate an alert on eBay about the figure in which you are interested and when the alert is activated I recommend that you do not hesitate to buy them. As the saying goes "a bird in hand is better than a hundred flying".

avatar_Shonisaurus @Shonisaurus, You are right but it was quite late last night to decide! And it is not the end of the world. I have recently ordered a new resin model to go to Martin, and he has finished repainting my CollectA Caviramus...  I have plenty of treats to come.

avatar_ceratopsian @ceratopsian I hope you receive your repainted caviramus soon. Although what you say is not the end of the world if you buy an exclusive figure. There are much more important things in life, you are right.

avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy, that make a whole lot of sense. I can't see myself shelling out the big bucks for the repaint, though I certainly agree that it's an improvement.

Shonisaurus

In my case I made that expense and I do not regret it. By the way, browsing through ebay in this case through ebay from China I found the repainting of the PNSO spinosaurus, precisely its last repainted copy for sale and the price is nonsense is exorbitant, I pass a link.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/PNSO-1-35-Spinosaurus-Studio-Edition-Limited-to-130-Sets-Last-One/174358163103?hash=item28988e6e9f:g:sksAAOSwua1et~xv

I do not think that anyone in the forum makes the mistake or economic suicide of buying such a figure, already involved in expenses, he buys a resin dinosaur figure from Sideshow or any other brand. It is a complete sin to buy this figure.

Mine is on the way.

Congratulations on getting this hard to pick figure !
Hopefully mine ordered from Lana should be on its way soon too.

Looks like none fo the other sellers really had it in stock, and since it ran out of stock on the official PNSO site, they could not provide it.
And Lana just removed its page store for this item as well.

I'm glad because I absolutely love the PNSO triceratops sculpt, but I have always disliked the color scheme they chosed for the standard version.
This one should have been part of a new release and not limited.
Hopefully they'll make a new batch for everyone to be able to get it.

Anyone know what became of those figures they teased on Dan's Dinosaurs? Are they canceled or postponed?

Yeah, I do remember them. They were "coming soon"  ::)

I think Eofauna will release their 2020 figure before those PNSO figures we were teased months ago.

Dinoxels

I find it odd that all communication with them has gone silent, they were posting on social media till May then released the baby Sino and Rex and we haven't heard anything since. I hope they are alright.

Let's hope that the tragic human situation and especially in what concerns here as a company, economic like the tragic pandemic of the coronavirus, has not affected them fatally.

Ohhh the Spinosaurus repaint looks amazing.

Oof, I wish I waited on the Essian repaint. The swamp green color was pretty plain, and I wasn't much of a fan of.

Shonisaurus

What I would like is for more spinosaurus to be marketed in that color tone and for prices to be more affordable. It does not seem logical to me that they sell few limited units, at impossible prices when the logical thing is that PNSO should make more spinosaurus figures with that paint tone whose generalized commercialization would mean much more economic benefits since people on the internet would buy those figures in a quite a considerable number. I wish PNSO would reconsider that idea.
