Not bad even if I prefer the color scheme of the Safari and BotM ones a bit more. I'm really waiting to see in hand pics of it though. Other then maybe the nasal boss area the rest of the sculpt looks about right and is pretty nicely detailed. I wonder if this is about 1:35 more or less like their other releases. If I recall correctly the Safari Ltd one was 1:40 scale? Which was a bit too small to be in scale with their 2018 Triceratops. On that note I am also looking forward to see if these will fit nicely alongside the Safari Ltd and CollectA ceratopsians, and give or take the much larger scaled BotM ones once they ship.

Gothmog the Baryonyx

I do not dislike the Pachyrhinosaurus but I will not be getting it, I have the Battat and Safari and have no desire for any more at that size or indeed at all.
Megalosaurus, Iguanodon, Archaeopteryx, Cetiosaurus, Compsognathus, Hadrosaurus, Brontosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Albertosaurus, Herrerasaurus, Stenonychosaurus, Deinonychus, Maiasaura, Carnotaurus, Baryonyx, Argentinosaurus, Sinosauropteryx, Microraptor, Citipati, Mei, Tianyulong, Kulindadromeus, Zhenyuanlong, Yutyrannus, Borealopelta, Caihong

Jose S.M.

I actually like it for the most part but I'm not a fan of the pose. I'm sticking with my Safari one too this time.

Creature

He's not my favorite, but I still like him. He looks like a middle-aged dude who is just over it. I also love the simple, old-fashioned names a lot of their figures get. Wilson. Audrey. Brian.

In the end I decided to buy the PNSO pachyrhinosaurus, it is a fairly cheap figure without the box. I pass the link:

In my case, I would buy it without the box, it is about eight dollars / euros less than its counterpart in Amazon sales.

I have to say, now that I've seen the whole body, I'm liking the Pachyrhino a lot more. Not sure if it's enough to order yet another new PNSO, but I like the pose and the overall look of the skin, especially the way the skin around the legs is handled as a more realistic stretchy envelope rather than the usual Greg Paul style hard outline with implied "leg pits". I'll probably get this one once it drops to the $17 older PNSO models go for on Amazon.

Absolutely beautiful new pachy! By far my favorite of all the versions 😃 and would bump all the others into the box storage!
Already ordered it.

The PNSO pachyrhinosaurus may not be superior to its Safari counterpart made by the masterful hand of Doug Watson but this one is also very pretty. I have also ordered it regardless of being quite critical of it. There are very few pachyrhinosaurus still on the toy market, although it seems there are enough, so a new figure of that ceratopsid from PNSO is greatly appreciated, at least, from me.

The Borealopelta is already on its way, am very excited to see it in person.... will be a long wait :D

Same with me. I bought borealopelta and atopodentatus.

If I had no pachyrhinosaurus, I'll surely get this. No doubt. But I find my myself-made-and-painted pachy more appealing, there's something in the neck-pose that does not convince me by now.
I'm still in doubt about getting the Corythosaurus (Lambeosarus was a must and easy purchase). As I collect only (taking a few exceptions) classic dinosaurus, Corythosaurus would be a nice addition. Just if it was cheaper ....

EDIT: Just if they were listening to my thoughts, some special offers have appeared in Aliexpress and even cheaper starting on 11.11. I've not waited to place my order on the Corythosaurus.

Is there any information on the scale of the Pachyrhinosaurus?  I would like for it to Bevin scale with Wilson and Doyle.

A quote from EverythingDinosaur's blog:

"The Pachyrhinosaurus model measures a fraction over fifteen centimetres in length. The tip of that carefully crafted head shield is just under eight centimetres high.  Although PNSO do not declare a scale for their mid-size series figures, based on P. canadensis (the first species assigned to this genus), which is estimated to have been around six metres long, Everything Dinosaur team members calculate that this new dinosaur figure is in approximately 1:40 scale."

Is that 15 cm linear, or measured along the spinal column? If the former, it's probably closer to 1:30.

I cannot say, as I'm not the author.  It can surely be no more than a rough and ready calculation on their part - bear in mind that the firm doesn't have the animal in hand......  They say "approximately".  Either way. you also run into the age-old problem of defining a precise scale - we don't know the largest or smallest individual within the population etc, or if our specimen is average sized etc.

there's something about the paint application on the actual model that makes me like it more than the Shown prototype. Now I'm seriousl thinking about getting it!

To me, every Figure from the last Weeks from PNSO seem to be a Hit. I love every Figure and i guess i have to get every Model over time. Hopefully there will be enough in Stock the next Weeks/Months.
Thanks for sharing the latest Pics!

I have commissioned this pachyrhinosaurus and I can tell you from my own experience that the lambeosaurus, corythosaurus, tuojiangosaurus, the atopodentatus marine reptile and even the microraptor (although it is its weakest figure) look spectacular. They look better in figure than physically. In my opinion they are highly recommended on the other hand their price is acceptable. Regarding the corythosaurus, which is the most expensive, surely tomorrow because it is Black Friday, maybe Aliexpress, Amazon or Ebay will give their respective stores a discount. They are good, pretty and cheap you can't ask for more.

Oh, Black Friday! I haven't thought about that. I'll check if Aliexpress will have special prices. But also you are right about the Prices. This is alot of Detail and Paintapplication on the Sculpt of these Figures, for the Price! you have to pay. Really lovely.

Looks like they're also releasing a giraffe 1:35-ish

It is very beautiful, I am glad that I am not interested in the animals, fortunately existing among us, because they are not extinct. It's honestly money that I save. On the other hand the borealopelta and pachyrhinosaurus are more voluminous than I imagined. I suppose that in the next week one of those two PNSO figures will be on my large shelves.
