Shonisaurus

avatar_KeU @KeU Thank you!!!!! Any illustration of the shonisaurus and shastasaurus by you is welcome.

KeU

avatar_Shonisaurus @Shonisaurus , here you go!
We have Shonisaurus in the foreground, and Shastasaurus in the back.
And a handful of Ichthyosaurus in their wake.

As you notice with the previouse piece as well, I have no idea how to add details to marine animals.
This is something I urgently need to figure out.

Shonisaurus

avatar_KeU @KeU Many thanks. They are very nice. I thank you that you have put the shonisaurus and shastasaurus next to the ichthyosaurus it gives an image of the enormous size that these immense marine reptiles had and that surely would take the place of dolphins and killer whales biologically speaking.

You've got the fable drawing.  :)

KeU

Thank you. You are too kind.

KeU

Another piece, since I am getting worked up with W-Dragon's upcoming Giganotosaurus release.
I present Movie Monstars.

I'm pretty sure everyone here know who they are and where they are from.
Technically, one of them is not a movie star, but a video game star.
Enjoy.

re: that amazing ichthyosaur artwork

Not to rain on your parade, but it seems Shastasaurus may not be in the same size range as Shonisaurus.

'Doesn't make me like that piece any less though. ;D

It seems like it.
Good thing Shonisaurus is not shrinking as well.

Updated again!
Even bigger tail for Spinosaurus.
Shorten the neck for Torvosaurus and revised her posture slightly.

Shonisaurus

You have been left with the spinosaurus and torvosaurus scientifically updated fabulously. Your drawings are phenomenal.

I kind of like the Disney Carnotaurus. And always will. Also, because of your Giganotosaurus shenanigans in your Thread, i startet with Dino Crisis 2 again. The last time was yeah, 20 Years ago :D The controls are straight out of hell. I forgot about it. But it could be the Emulation. I really don't know.

It's those tank controls.
I am not sure I can get into the control scheme again.

Vintage Dinosaur Monstars!
These folks are from movies / shows in the 1920s - 1970s
I wonder if it would be easier for people to identify this time around.
There are quite a few old timers here.

It's been awhile.
Here's another group of big Theropods. Tarbosaurus, Acrocanthosaurus, and Suchomimus.

Usually relegated to the 2nd tier due to their slightly larger and more famous cousins.
But they are still massive Theropods that are apex predators in their ecosystems.
Side note, was researching Tarbosaurus while preparing for this piece.
Considering the vast difference in skull structure, I find it surprising that there are still arguments that it should be a species of Tyrannosaurus.
If anything, I feel that it is more similar to Daspletosaurus.

Glad to be of service.
If you want, I can re-arrange the Gigas so they are in 1 single row instead of 2. That will show up better in the signature banner I think.
How bout another piece for Carchatodontosaurus? If you can send me some suggestions.

Yep, you got all of them. The PNSO and Papo were struggles for me. Can't get them to look right.

Love this piece. Reminds me of the time I would spend watching movies with my Grandpa as a kid. Very happy that the Fantasia Tyrannosaurus is represented here.

Glad you liked it. It wasn't easy narrowing the selection down to 5.

Shonisaurus

The illustration of the five dinosaur heads from movies and retro is very realistic I really like the pose of the head of the ceratosaurus in threatening position like a bad boy. In short, magnificent illustrations of "retro" dinosaurs from movies have been great.
