The basic part of my collection is displayed in and on an old wooden cabinet. I can´t afford big shelves in many rooms anymore, because two children demand their space. I will sell many of my chinasaur stuff this year, also including  figures such as AAA. My collecting style has been degenerating a little, mercyfully giving each and every random chinasaur a refugee. This costs space and time. I don´t want to sound arrogant, but basically I´d like to establish a more concentrated and more specific style for me.

My collection thread will thus  focus not on the bulk, as it sometimes did in the past, but more on the highlights of my collection I´d like to introduce to you with a pic ans a small text. This will not replace my work for the blog, but rather complete it, for here I´m not  bound to a specific style.

Describing my collection with a few words could sound:

Accident great finds with interesting stories behind them, oddities, monochrome plastic, Bullyland, vintage, Kaiyodo, terror birds.

Excellent! It's good to see more and more classic threads move over here! :) I guess I mentioned before how envious that Wolter Design Corythosaurus baby makes me? ;)

Oh Lord, won't you buy me a T-rex by Krentz? My friends all have Sideshow, I must make amends.

Nice to see your collection again :)

Thank you all for the nice comments!
I announced an ongoing picture catalogue, so I start with an oddity: Basel museum Tsintaosaurus. Here you see him alone and right from Invicta Megalosaurus. I hunted that ornithopod down to Basel, where Ms. Müller from the museum shop eventually helped me very kindly.  If you like, read the whole story on the blog!

These are my Marolins/VEB Plahos. The yellow Brontosaurus is presumably the older one by VEB Plaho. I´m not sure about the Megatherium, if it´s the older or the younger version. Ifound it, however in a 50cent - bin on a flea market! How lucky I was!

Hi Libra, I am pretty sure the grey/darker coloured figures are the older ones. Which means you have an old Plaho Megatherium, and both an old (Plaho) and new (Marolin) Brontosaurus. I am really envious about your Megatherium!!  ^-^

Another gem of my collection is Bullyland Deinotherium. I love its used vintage look!

DinoFan45

The collection looks amazing, and with such odd or rare pieces, it humbles mine anyday.
