Still don't understand why they don't do more marine reptiles.

MATTEL BETTER MAKE THIS A TOY BECAUSE I WILL GIVE THEM ALL MY MONEY
Sincerely doubt that
they made the carcharodontosaurus from the previous game, i think it's possible!

I would love to see Mattel do a Dunkleosteus. I'm sure it would be horrid in terms of accuracy, but otherwise epic.

well then there's plenty more for them to make! aquatic reptiles are a fan favourite, and with a certain new marine reptile rumored for JW:D, id say marine reptiles will definitely be in higher demand by 2022. it is in no way out of the realm of possibility..

I think it is entirely possible that Mattel will make more marine reptiles, but they're certain to be few and far between. They've got a Tanystropheus on the way which at the very least would be considered semi-aquatic.

yes! i've been thinking the same thing. hoping the inclusion of

Dimetrodon and Lystrosaurus

[/b] in Jurassic World Dominion prompts more permian species and paleozoic animals to be converted into toy form. i'd buy the hell out of any gorgonopsids or an estemmenosuchus!

Pentaceratops:

Carcharodontosaurus:

Okay so other then the tail and legs on the Pentaceratops being a bit weird, I really like it. Really want to see how it will compare with David's releasing later this year (obviously his is more accurate, etc, but I think for a $20 figure, this is a nice alternative in a similar size range I'm guessing). I'm sure I mentioned this before, but it also looks inspired by the coloration of the JWE one, which I like. I also think the repaint for the Carcharodontosaurus is rather nice too.

Edit: Just after I post these I noticed on that same page they had images of some new snap squads too:

Velociraptor:

Dimorphodon:

Baryonyx:

Triceratops:

Part of me is thinking about skipping the Pentaceratops in case there's a better-looking repaint in the future. But that's a calculated risk.  :-\

avatar_suspsy @suspsy If you can find it for retail, and if another more appealing version comes down the road, then could you just sell this version off?

So far only the Protoceratops, Styracosaurus, and Sinoceratops have since received 1 additional repaint, and the Triceratops has gotten far more. We also have yet to see repaints for Amargasaurus and Quetzalcoatlus after all this time, though I suspect we'll see something for the latter (if not a retool entirely) for next year.

Carnoking

That carchar is gorgeous! Not every day one of Mattel's repaints outdoes it's original.

I'd prefer not to sell off anything if I can avoid it.

I love the paint on that Carchar. Shame the sculpt is based on that awful JWE design

Gwangi

I'm ecstatic about the Pentaceratops. The legs and tail are a bit wonky looking but the head sculpt is beautiful. The paintjob is serviceable enough, there's no way I want to risk missing out on this one in hopes of a re-paint. That said, I JUST got the Carcharodontosaurus a couple days ago and this new one does have a far superior paintjob. All well.

avatar_suspsy @suspsy Totally understandable.

And I'm excited to share that my SDCC Ray Arnold set arrived safely today. That came sooner then expected. What an amazing set.
