I just want a large, standing Quetzalcoatlus as there is yet to be a figure of it. Other than that, I don't mind any other pterosaurs.

I may be in the minority, but I like the muted coloured Ankylosaurus.
It certainly isn't a bad figure, and I still love mine even with the muted colors. I can also see why some prefer the muted batch as it adds character to the figure in my opinion. So it is understandable as why there is a group who love this variant.

Me too. Been holding off on the Safari flying one for that very reason

Cretoxyrhina is hollow and has seams at first pair of gill slits.

Info: generally less than 7m, perfect body for swimming, teeth are arranged according to fossils, big eyes, positioned bit more to the front than old reconstructions.

Edit: Defo gonna wait this time since corona lockdown probably affects deliveries and don't wanna go out when unnecessary, tssk :'(

Sounds like a variant of Sede, what with the modifications to the tail annd scales. If the color is also better than my dull figure, I may get one.

Oops sorry thats what they wrote on new pics, figure look exactly the same, no change aside from paint.

I think it would be good if PNSO made pterosaurs.  I can imagine them making Quetzalcoatlus due to its popularity, but I wish they wouldn't as Quetzalcoatlus is one of the most overrated prehistoric animals ever, only truly known from fragments.  I don't get the appeal of a fantasy creature in a prehistoric collection.  As for Pteranodon, P. longiceps my favourite short-tailed pterosaur and I admit I would be drawn to a figure representing a male with a broad beak.  The Wild Safari version is very nice, but the thin beak deters me.  If PNSO made a Pteranodon it would definitely be a male at least, but perhaps they would include a female if it was a museum series figure.  I can't imagine any other way they would make a female Pteranodon.

What I would prefer though is long-tailed pterosaurs!  They are so lovely and many are known from excellent remains.  The one I'd most like is my favourite pterosaur, Rhamphorhynchus!  Scaphognthus without a head crest would also be awesome.  And it would be amazing to see PNSO do a wukongopterid.  Perhaps Kunpengopterus antipollicatus, or Wukongopterus which PNSO has made a nice reconstruction of: https://twitter.com/george_gorilla/status/855194677385064448

Exactly! Great figure but I need a standing pose! Like come on already, someone make it!

Thanks for the info avatar_Faras @Faras
PNSO took the right move by placing the seams along the gills. Definitely need to get this one as its affordable and something new.

Gwangi

Shame about the seam on the Cretoxyrhina but at least the gills make it appear less noticeable, and with its low price point this in an instance where I can look past the seams.

Gonna throw my hat in the ring for wanting a standing Quetzalcoatlus as well. I prefer standing pterosaurs in general.

Faelrin

Yeah shame this one is also part of the unfortunate trend of having a seam (I really hope they don't keep this trend going forward for any new dinosaurs, etc), but at least it is much cheaper compared to the previous releases with such.

What a shame about the seams on the Cretoxyrhina. I went back to the previously shared images in this thread, and there are definitely no seams on those first images. Maybe this was a last minute decision for the manufacturing process and those previous photos weren't meant to be uploaded. That would explain why they didn't announce the figure on their official channel until yesterday. At least the seams appear to be a lot less noticeable on this figure.

Re: pterosaurs. Yes, please! I'd also be interested in a proper standing Quetzalcoatlus. The Kaiyodo one is very nice, but also very small.

Shonisaurus

I would like a pterodaustro or a dsungaripterus. Those two pterosaurs need a lot more love.

I absolutely agree, those are two of my most wanted pterosaurs. We also need an Anurognathus.

GiganotosaurusFan

Has anybody seen the seams on the Cretexorhina? Beside the gills
Any Giganotosauruses are friends. Any other carnivores are...I think I'll run now.

Apparently they are at least interested in making it, but they are borrowing a resin design, and there seems to be rights issues, I don't know if they will find an agreement.

For those of you in the US, Happy Hen Toys is up-to-date with PNSO: https://www.happyhentoys.com/pnso-online-store-dinosaur-museum.html

they are not any cheaper than Amazon from China, but at least they are already in the US so no worries regarding international shipping

Except for the Olorotitan, for some reason? That's a bummer, I was going to make a Happy Hen order anyway and was hoping to grab Ivan while I was at it.
Check out my customs thread!

I find it odd how some stores, such as Happy Hen Toys, price their offerings. Some PNSO figures are either listed the same price as their amazon counterparts, some are cheaper, and some are more expensive. The Lambeosaurus for example, $32 on Happy Hen Toys, meanwhile its $23 on amazon. Minizoo does the same too.

Striking images, the best for which one could hope, short of holding the real thing in one's hand, avatar_Abobo @Abobo . The buyer simply has to decide to overlook the seams on hollow vinyl figures. Then one has a glorious product. If one can't see past the seams, then best not to buy. Of course, cost is another issue that clouds the matter.

Shonisaurus

Honestly, that prehistoric shark, cretoxyrhina is fine, what is missing are its visible seams, but without a doubt it is a gift from PNSO metaphorically speaking that PNSO has made one more prehistoric fish, apart from the helicoprion that eliminates the routine to which The majority of the dinosaur companies have submitted to us with only the reproduction of the well-known dunkleosteans and megalodon. It is to be thankful.

Over9K

Beautiful figure! Those seams are nicely minimized, IMO. I do wish it was a little bit more toward the Bronze in color, I feel like the promo photos had shown that. In all, can't wait to have it in hand!
